Monday March 12th. 2007

Im going to Sedona. No particular reason. Thought it might be fun if some people would like to throw together a sort of run.

My Plan.

-Have breakfast the Waffle House. about 8am
-Be on the road to Sedona by 9pm.
-Stop in Jeroma Az, for Lunch at The Haunted Hamburger.
-After lunch, head out to Sedona for sight seeing, hanging out, chocolate shop. general shopping.
-After we decide were done, head back down the I-17 back home to Phoenix.

The Breakdown:

Phoenix to Prescott Valley = 96.1mi. est time = 1hr 42 min
Prescott Valley to Jerome Az. = 22.7 est time = 33 min
Jerome Az. to Sedona Az. = 22.1 est time = 33 min
Sedona to Phoenix = 117mi. est time = 1hr 57min

The Directions:
Phoenix I-17 north
Exit onto 69 towards Prescott [west]
Once in Prescott Valley we will take the 89a north twards Flagstaff
Stopping at Jerome and Continuing on the 89a north to Sedona
FROM SEDONA 89a south to the 179[14mi] which will run into the I-17 south.

I still havent been to sedona, would like to go sometime tho. Not sure it can e on a monday tho.

 

My vacation days and sick days are lumped into one. So if I call in sick it's considered a pto day - personal time off.

 

c'mon Chris. avondale toyota will understand. tell them its for customer appreciation.

ahh...just realized that's a monday not sunday :-( Well I'm off work at about 6

 

yeah cuz you didnt roll with us on my birthday

 

weekends suck for me, i work 9am to 9pm. someone gimme a job where i dont have to work weekends. lol

 

Go to work for the government, you will get the hours, but underpaid. Take your pick.

 

the 89a is one of my favorite drives, especially if you have suspension upgrades. if i can get off, im down.

 

well the 12th is roughly 2 weeks away. i posted early just incase someone wanted to request the day off or switch days. im deffinately going,
