I think that we need to be on the road by 8am. Meaning everyone from the Phoenix area should meet at Krispie Kreme by 730am. This way we can sort out the drive and such. We should be able to meet you all in Tucson by 915am you think? (I have only driven there once..that and dont know where this exit is). If we can leave Tucson no later then 945am we will have 3h45m to get there and take pics along the way by 130pm. Then we can meet up with everyone and do whatever. I am sure we cant check in until 3 anyways. I have no idea what is along the way or whatever...but I'd like to see all we can see....

Just my 2 cents...like I said I have never been so Im not sure what I'm in for but I think that leaving at 8am and not getting there till 3pm is discouraging as that is a 7 hour drive

I dont think you can get to Tucson I-10 and Craycroft in an hour and 15 minutes unless your flyin Craycroft is about 10 miles past downtown Tucson when I go to Phx every month for a sales meeting it takes me 1 hour 45 mins. , and I do 85 most of the way !!!!

If we stop and do breakfast in Tucson that is correct , however if we go with the original plan stopping @ Texas Cyn. for Pics ,we will be in Silver @ approx 1:00 P.M. New Mexico time

I'm confused...according to mapquest...Silver City is almost 5 hours away from Phoenix....I know those times arent very accurate but considering we are caravaning...its gonna be about that long...so ANY stops along the way and that pushes us past 1pm. Just stopping to pick you guys up in Tuscon will take at least 20 minutes. Pictures? I'd say about an hour.

 

I say we enjoy this trip and not feel like we're in a rush. I doubt we'll be able to check in before 3 as well so might as well take advantage of what we're doing.

 

Map Quest is pretty much on the money time wise : Silver City is about 3 hrs. from Tucson with one pee stop in Lordsburg so if we stop@ Texas Cyn for pics figure 4 hrs. then we lose an hour going into NM so it will be an hour earlier .......

AZ and NM are both on Mountain time...there is no time change.

I believe the check in time for Holiday Inn is 12:00pm, and I believe thats the same check out time. I think we should be in Silver City (everyone) by at least 2pm at the latest. that sounds good becuase about 3 hours after that the sun goes down with litle options do do anything else but go to dinner, maybe to the bar, play games in the hotels, etc. Wade I think the meet time for Silver City should be 2PM latest! It will give everyone good enough time to get there.

yeah that sounds good steven. That means NM SCIONS really wont have to leave Alb until about 9am. it should take us about 4-5 hrs to get to Silver Cirty is we do stop at the Owl Cafe in San Antonio, and have a photo shoot of our own somewhere. sounds perfect to me!

 

This is going to be a great meet! Can't wait to meet everyone in SC.
