Working saturdays is "so" overated -- I wanna go -- I wanna go Crap -- wrong
I tell you -- just wrong. I wished we could have tagged along to meet some of the
others in our region as well as some from out of state. To bad no takers from the "salt"
area joining you guys, but you have at least one from colorado meeting up with ya.
Have a fun and "safe" trip you lucky dogs.

I just got back from Silver and the old k-mart (Stream) parking lot is blocked off now unfortunately. The guards at the DC said Stream was coming back or something. Temps was about 60 up there today so pretty nice though a little breezy.

Just a friendly reminder for those of you coming from arizona, NM has concealed carry but as of right now they do not accept or recognize anyone out of state permits!

Of course you can still legaly carry in the open here, with the exception of federal/state buildings and places that sell or serve alcohol. Your vehicle is considered an extension of your home in NM so you can conceal the weapon inside the vehicle, but if you get pulled over it would be polite to let the officer know. For those of you coming from Lordsburg to Silver there will be a few signs that say "SAFETY CORRIDOR", this area is state cop heaven, so turn on your lights and watch your speed because fines are doubled there!

I will be getting up there around noon from Deming.. I may or may not get a room since I only live an hour away but I am looking forward to meeting you all.

Wings! I pm'd you my cell

FYI for all AZ - I did a quality check with Janice tonight at Krispy Kreme @ AZ Mills and they passed with flying colors. Let's fuel up our bodies with hot coffee and warm doughnuts on our way out of town! YUM!

Townsend thanks for the recon work , and yes I got your #
I guess we will have to meet @ the Holiday Inn unless you (Towmsend) can think of another meeting place with a big enough parking lot , The Wal Mart is always so busy and the lot gets pretty full......

P.S. whats up with the website it's been slow all day???
Don't know.

They did restart the server yesterday.... then forgot to clear the cache so my banner program was hanging the site. When I heard about it I called them and they restarted that program....

How's it running now?

hey Comedy sorry there was confusion on the NM SCIONS site. The Silver City Run is the 28th. The date you saw on the site for the 15th was a meeting for NM SCIONS to discuss the trip.

Well it's getting closer only 2 more weeks !!!!!
In case anyone needs it the address to Holiday Inn Express is 1103 E. Superior St.

I still have only recd. 11 phone #'s please dont wait till the last minute to send them to me . I will be out of town (Yuma) on business the whole week prior to the run and will not have time to compile the list if everyone waits till the last...........
I am getting psyched about getting out of town to relax and hang with everybody !!!

I have a map that I will have printed up for everyone and a phone list to hand out @ TTT truck stop
I posted that some of the Tucson peep's will be meeting for breakfast @ 8 A.M. anyone from Phx is welcome to join us too !!!!!

alright, NM SCIONS will be leaving Albuquerque @ 8AM. We will be stopping in San Antonio, NM to meet up with the people from Roswell, then we will be heading into Silver City. We should get there about 12-12:30pm. I think the meet point for everyone should be the Holiday Inn Express, just because everyone has to check in anyway.

Wings...I believe your going to be the leader for the AZ side? If so you should PM me your # also just in case, and whoever else wants to give their # to me that would be cool. Can't wait to meet everyone!

Hello all!

I know I speak for most of you when I say I am sooo excited for this trip!

Some of us thought it would be fun to stay in on Saturday night (the 28th) and have a pajama party at the Holiday Inn. Pajamas are optional, clothing is required. Please keep your PJs PG rated (JANICE, this means you!). BYOB and get ready to have a good time. If anyone wants to bring a poker set, some of you may win back some of the money you are gonna lose at Chad's this weekend.

Thanks again to all of you - especially Wade - who are working to make this event a great time.

Susan
