Default Soon to be TC owner 2006 or 2007? Which one?

Getting ready to buy a white tc this weekend at right toyota. Looking to get manual, scion security and sirius radio upgrade. Anything else should i be looking at?

The only reason why I was going to Right Scion is because my brother is a service advisor there. I will still check out Camelback Scion.

New question any big difference between the 2006 or 2007? What is the spec?

The Satellite radio kits from Scion are not working in the 2007 tC models at this time. Ask about an aftermarket solution.

We have it on our menu and it's less money that Scion's. You also end up with a better sounding system that's more-easily upgraded later.

We also have a cool alarm with remote start for the manual transmissions. Ask them if they can hook that up for you.

Good luck with the buy!

Check all the scion dealerships in the area before you buy. They all have the same sticker prices but the customer satisfaction is different at all of them.

just another voice to say go see Mark, Bryan or Ron at Camelback. They are the best in the Valley and are part of the regulars in the scion community here. I promise that they will take good care of you. They all post here on the message board as well.

Best Dealership for Scions in the Valley is Camelback. But if you decide to go with Right that is fine as long as the experience is ok. Now for accessories and other upgrades THEN you'll want to go to Camelback for sure. Awesome parts department

It looks like from what I'm seeing the difference between the spec and regular is the wheels? Should I just get the spec version and put 18's on there?

I'd go with a 06, they changed stuff that is limiting mods to the '07s then again they added some stuff that the '06 could use, I love my 06 so I guess I'm kinda partial to the 06

i believe they changed either the intake or exhaust manifold and now the supercharger wont work with it. i could be wrong. but i think thats correct.

go 06 if u wanna get the supercharger or go turbo anytime soon... the 07 has some minor changes that make it harder to do.. so the FI forums read at least

The head got reworked. But you're right. TRD needs to update their kit so, I imagine, everyone else will too.

also da glass roof is 1 piece. I dont know if its got power windows and all that other stuff. Your best bet is go to camelback and see for yourself, JP has one and he works there also.

teh tubes on theheader are longer and get in the way of the headers, and they also changed the Mass Air Flow Sensor so none of the intakes already out will work, but I have heard that most companies are working the issue, aftermarket headers should fit though I read a post that a guy put the Alphawerks headers on an '07
