Pioneer head unit or Alpine. Memphis subs, mids and high's, or JL Audio, or JBL.

Having a loud system also requires proper installation. Having the right amount of air space and proper built box has a lot to do with how well/loud it will sound. If you had the wrong type enclosure for your subs any speaker will sound like crap.
Having the right amount of power to push those sub's also has alot to play with it as well.
So make sure you add that to your thoughts on sound. You still might buy best of the best but it wills till sound like crap due to improper install.

just my 2 cents. Good luck on the hunt

I had a buddy that had an old puch 80 and a pair of 10" Fosgate Series 1 subs, We had that built up in the correct enclosure and you could hear him for blocks.

But main line subs/amps.. JL audio, JBL, Fosgate,

Well of course I'm going to recommend MTX or Xtant subs, the new Xtant X2's are incredible for output and quality.

Alright, here ya go.

Depends on what you want in your dash.

In-dash screen-Pioneer AVIC-DN1
OR for a headunit-Alpine 9000 series

2 10" in a ported or 2 12" subs in a sealed enclosure will probly fit in the xB but may push the limits.

Subs- Go either JL, or Kicker(solo-baric series), or Fosgate(Stage 1's will be perfect), or some Orion subs. Audiobahn, MTX, Infinity, and Pioneer are not bad choices but really not top notch quality in my book--I've have problems with all 4 of them.

Speakers-Infinity, Pioneer, Polk

Amps- Fosgate, Orion, Power Acoustik(I have loved my 2 amps from them), Kicker

Make sure you do a lot of research before you install your system. The box, wiring ohms, fitment, placement, watts, and all the goodies. Some good reading is available at the forums on cardomain.com or sounddomain.com.

Hope that helps.
Later.

Steven

You do have a slew of choices and people on this site that work in the business. They are all really good companies, asking questions and getting advice is never an issue so you should always ask. I would suggest you work with a local dealer, it really comes down to service and support in the local area. The local dealer will normally have a wide variety of choices that will satisfy your audio needs.

Hey Chris, Been doing good. Just focused on work and my new toy. Did you hear I got a Porsche Boxster? Oh man....what a rush. We've missed everyone in our Scion Family, maybe we will be out sometime to see you all. Our box is still the same....sick sound system and the great added stuff Chris and Randy did for us. Thanks again guys.
As for the sounds system, I would go with what Kelly said, However, I am so sold on Memphis everything to include, speakers, subs and amps. We went with two 15" subs in our. I would not do it any other way. We did loose the space for our spare tire, so something to consider. All other six speaker are Memphis as well. Just an awesome sounds quality with those bad boys. You can crank it so loud and still have perfect sound quality. We also have the Memphis amps, oh my goodness. One pushing the subs and the other pushing all 6 speakers. What an awesome set up. That’s all I have to say about that. So, on that note, you pretty much can not go wrong in the box any ways, it’s like one big speaker inside.
