It means that it was more fun when it was xA's and xB's only, tC owners are just different, not saying that I hate them or anything. Most of the problems in my region started when the tC's started getting popular. We used to have a majority (75%) of xB's at meets and shows, now it's about 90% tC's, most of the xB/xA owners don't come out anymore because the tC owners would ignore/be a-holes/bash on xB owners. Not to mention tC owners would make us look bad at Meets, Shows, and cruises by doing burn outs, speeding, driving recklessly.

I'm NOT saying all tC owners are like this, but the majority in my region and ex-club were.....

Haven't seen that here in AZ. Our problems are small(minded) people and we don't have too many of those (thankfully)

When I drive by xB's on the streets I always get a wave or smile. When I drive by a tC driver I get a glare or usually they look and turn around with their head in the air. Though I did get flipped off by an xB owner one time when I pulled up with my system blaring and 3 girls in the car bouncing around to the music. I do know some tC owners that are super nice and while they bash on xb'S they do it in fun which is cool!

I am just here to HANG. I dig pretty much everyone I have meet so far. Like I told countless people that have come over and worked on projects, when this all becomes work, the smiles stop and competition to be #1 takes priority over helping out the guys around you.... Then it is not fun and time to leave for awhile.

I have been in clubs and car associations that had such sticks up there holes that to even ask for a tool, some spray detailer or a hand would results in ____ talking or rolling of the eyes. I have not seen that once in this communuty and lets keep it that way.

And guys, do not even start with "it's the tc guys or the xb guys, there are equal tards that own each, I know I have talked to a few in and out of this state" Just be cool with what you drive, if a tc guy is being a dork, call him on it... if a xb or xa guy is being a tard, call him on it and smooth things out. No room in this small world for bungholes or cocktards. Just be coo yo!

If anyone has an issue with anyone, just talk to eachother. Send a PM and bring up your frustration.
" sorry heavy meds doing allot of talking for me haha"

ok...I think the main point of this post is to talk about the D&S group and what kind of issues we have here that make it not fun. Its great to hear from outsiders on other issues but lets please not turn this into a Tc driver did this and Xb driver did that...we are not in 1st grade...so back to the point when did it become un-fun to others? and who else r the others? post please so we can work on the issue..dont hide behind others and not say a word on your own...im still peachy!!!

Everything's great for me. Love the car as much as ever and the people too. I do see how some people who were around more than 1&1/2 years ago could be losing a little of the fun. I was just getting started then, but parking lot meets with less than 10 people had a little different feel.

I love helping people, and it's nice to be able to tell people how I did this or that to the car, even though I haven't done too much.

I'm not one to cause trouble or get offended and I hate to see people go away mad, but there's usually not too much we can do about it. I can't make other people play nice, I can only play nice myself.

Everything's great with me.

Everthing's peachy here.

I would just like to say I have owned my tC since Feb 2005. I di not make it out to my first meet until April 2005 which was at the Pavillions, I remember rolling in & being guided to parked & was welcomed by all, I thought to myself this is awesome.

As time has went on I continued to go to meets every weekend & was able meet alot of cool people. I have made alot of friends which I hope will continue even if myself or one of them do not own a Scion anymore. I love my car just the way everyone else loves their own car. I look forward to going to the next meet or carshow when I can or have the time to just so I can see all my friends that I have made since being a member of Scionetics & Scionlife.

I also look forward & get excited to see the new things(mods) that people are doing to their vehicles whether it be an xA, xB, or tC.

For me this is really exciting as I never got to do this when I was younger, didn't have the time or money. I call it my second childhood and I get to do the things I want to do & I am going to make the best of it.

On to the negative end, I understand that not everyone is going to get along, but if you have an issue with someone I feel you need to talk to them directly. If you are not happy to be around the group or can't handle criticism, or whatever else the reason may be, then I say just don't come around. I personally have had issues with some people but I feel that they have resolved themselves and the people involved still enjoy coming to the meets and hanging out as do I.

Alright that is my $.02 worth

I was just told about this post tonight and it was suggested that I give my opinion on why it "stopped being fun".

#1 It stopped being fun when I voiced my opinion on two events out of the 20+ I have attended in the short 6 months I have owned my xB and am told by more than one person "If you don't like it then don't attend" and "Stop _____ing about every event you attend".

#2 It stopped being fun when someone has to send me anonymous emails calling me every name in the book and telling me that I don't deserve to drive the Fallen Heroes Car but does not have the ***** to say it in person.

#3 It stopped being fun for me when I hear people complaign about an event at the event, but then those same people get on the forum and have nothing but praise and say everything is perfect.

#4 It stopped being fun for me when I am the only person willing to speak up on the forums when something can be improved because those people are afraid of the "car show OG's" and what they might say.

Sure, I might be new to the car show scene, but I'm not a young man. I've been to (and helped run) thousands of motorcycle related events over the past 25+ years. I have NEVER seen another group of people so afraid to speak up in public when something can be improved. If you don't speak up when something is wrong, then it will never be fixed or improved. But I guess in this group asking for improvement is called "_____ing".

Now you know.

Wow I hope things better..I really look forward to being a positive part of Scionetics. Last nite I saw a lot of NICE cars who belong to hard working people...Something I see in me .It would be a shame if this thing fell apart. I am a newbie, and I hope to learn something from all of you...

Scisko...

Thanks for setting up the meet last nite, Mark, Ron, and all others who were involved that I have not yet me...Food was awsome, Musik was Sik and cars look euphoric...

It hasn't been fun since this post and every over post like have been made. I feel that this kind of ____ only fuels the fire of those with feelings toward othermembers or the actions of said members. I feel that many feel that the business of others should be made public and do so if things do not go their way in certain situations. I left the car club scene after my $4,000 paint job was vandalized 3 times during the course of my club memberships; this all due to childish actions made by careless individuals. I feel that this sort of mentality has come across into the 'unclub' world and it definitely shows by making this post. I have nothing further to say like a few others have stated and have already written to Darren to cancel my Scionlife membership.

If I can give any advice as to what to do when a question such as this comes up, ignore the hell out of it, as by answering the question brought forward, you are only stooping to his/her level.

RBasil, I can understand where you come from, I hate to say it or bring it up, but some of it is probably political with you due to you driving a car like that. not everyone is in support of whats going on ( I support our troops big time) with our boys over seas and its going to ____ people off and they find an excuse to complain about something related to you and your tyte car. not saying that they have a right to email you like that. that totally sux and if I could track em down I would. just goes to show you how inmature they are.

as for vandalizing property that sux too, while I don't hav a $4000 paint job, I had a $2000 sound setup that was stolen and it ____ed me off. crap happens unfortunatly when you have something nice and people want it. sorry to see you go sprslug, the scene can be frustrating unless you have an 'i don't care what's going on I'm just here for fun' attitude (which I have :D ) but heck, its worth it all when I get a car full of girls driving next to me for 6 miles talking to them at each red light and exchanging numbers. can't beat that with a stick!

Looks like 17 people so far arent having fun, im wondering who they are ..

I always look forward for saturday nights because that is when we can all hang out and bs or share modding info and what not. Saturday is pretty much my day with friends so I make the most of it when I can when im at the meets, even if I dont talk much..haha. I am the Mr Mom here at home so I dont do much or hang out with anyone during the week but be home with my wife and kids. I miss the way it was 2 years ago but thats in the past and we have grown huge from the handful of Scions that hung out back then. I will admit, I dont read alot of the gossiping or bashing posts here so I dont know a whole lot of what went down to bring this on.

im tired, and my brain hurts...im going to bed

Wow.

I'm new to ScionLife.com and I wasn't aware that some tC owners have a superiority complex over xB owners.

Honestly- we all drive TOYOTAs... so what's the big deal?

I know everyone here more specifically drives Scions but I wanted to say Toyota because Lexus is within the Toyota family and well - I'm a part of the fam.
