so we locked deng for another 5 or 6 years and he definitely got what he wanted. but now gordon is assed out.

he turned down the 5 year deal last year and now i bet hes kicking himself in the a$$. i know i would.

i think the bulls made the right decision in making deng happy first, imo hes more valuable and watching some of his games with great britain, hes looking pretty damn good.

and now gordon wont take the 1 yr deal for 6 mil and become unrestricted next season. but, do we really want him to take the deal? he could potentially sandbag the whole season since he would be gone in the summer anyway. or, he might rather have a breakout season, and bump up his market value and cause a bidding war next year.

or, he can go to europe.

did anyone see the summer games that rose played in? curious to find out how he did. i read articles saying he didnt do too well, but obviously that means nothing at this point

well, everyone knew they wouldnt be able to afford both gordon and deng. they had to pick btwn the two, and they picked deng.

they really need to do something about the 10 million guards they have. obviously theyre keeping rose and hinrich, and gordon will probably leave when a euro team makes an offer. they lost duhon, but already have the 2 pgs, they have a veteran 2 guard with hughes and a young guy with potential in sefalosha, 2 up and coming big men in gray and noah, noc and deng at sf, tyrus and gooden at pf.

and the rest. to me they have plenty of half decent players that can trade for a veteran center (which they need, since they threw away pj brown and he ended up playing a big role in the finals with boston. another brilliant move.)

gordon = bad ballhandler? i dont catch many games out here in socal, but ive seen a few of his highlight reels and it seems to me hes got street-ball status handles... a pretty killer crossover, can change direction on a dime and does a few unorthodox tricks here and there. was all that just fluff for the highlight reel? does he honestly need improvement?

i really need to get that league pass.

no seriously thats all highlight reel. check out his turnover ratio and watch the whole game, and a couple of games. for every crazy move he pulls of that makes our jaw hang down, he makes like 4 or more tunrover or bad decsions trying to do too much

yea... with those highlights, i can see that happening. you might say all he really needs to do is slow down and keep it simple

thats a good point. now that if he stays, wow, still have those million guards. even if they didnt get a big name center ,like u said they should of already gotten a good vet center that was decent. i just dont see all these guards like coexsisting or however u spell it. i mean rose, hughes, gordon, thabo, like ims ure a team would of given us a good center or pf for like one of those players

hmmm... i guess he just got cut then. apparently hes a pretty solid point guard if you measure his stats per minute. but since he didnt get very many minutes, the overall averages looked mediocre. assist-turnover ratio was supposed to be pretty good.

that last game the bulls played the bucks where both teams scored over 150 or something, duhon had 15 assists and ZERO turnovers.

i wish i could have watched that game
