saw highlights, listened to the game online, the numbers looked damn good when all was said and done. looks like derrick rose is gonna have a big impact on this team.

im just dreading tomorrows game... we got the celtics... but at least we'll still be .500

lol yea. but i forgot which player said it was like, " we will see how good we are, you find out when you match up with the world champs". if we were to win we would opena lot of eyes and all those people saying we should of gotten beasley instead of rose will shut up

havent been on these boards at all in a while... but i still follow our guys daily

so far theyve exceeded my expectations, especially rose (thank god)

although i feel like they should have won that 2nd game against philly (we were home dammit), i cant say the same about the bucks, they have a lot of tools and revamped D from skiles. theyre looking like a valid contender for the 6-8 spot in the east (so are the bulls... i smell a rivalry)

losing hinrich sucks, hes a strong veteran backup to rose although his performance thus far has been sub-par. hopefully he'll make a strong comeback when hes healthy.

as for deng, although his numbers are heading up again, most of his shots have been mid-long range. to me, thats not really what i want him doing for too long, i dont want him to live and die by the jumpshot, like he was when his numbers sucked. i want the slashing/cutting deng from a few years back. hopefully hes just being cautious due to his recent injury

and how bout tyrus thomas.... what a bust so far huh. vdn needs to play him more if he wants tyrus to improve. but goddam it all he needs to stop taking those jumpers if hes gonna miss them all the time. on D and rebounding hes pretty good. lets cater him to his strengths during games and develop his weaknesses in practice

^^ yea i agree. and larry hughes is doing a good job of being a veteran and when they need him,he steps up. i couldnt agree more about thomas.i mean he is a sick athlete potential wise i think.but he wont learn if he keeps satyin on the bench. and rose is as good as we hoped.

well, im back... havent quite been on the boards in a really long time.

the bulls are right where i expected them to be this season. the trades at the deadline were top notch (gj pax), and after those i feel like we have a sure spot at #8 in the east. they will get whupped in the first round for sure, but lets not forget what atlanta did last year in the post season and how they carried it over to this season (who would have guessed they would be 4th/5th?).

weve been winning against some pretty major teams, but losing against mediocre teams. why this happens is beyond me. but this may mean good news come playoff team when they face the number 1 seed, since they seem to do better against stronger teams.

i watched the clippers v bulls game live here in LA recently. i freakn ran into bj armstrong outside of the staples center and he signed my jacket. i was starstruck lol
