Who cares?!! People can be free to sing it in whatever freakin' language they want! A song that was talked about more than it was heard by people. A version of the anthem that was actually conceptualized by a BRITISH record producer, who knew that he could make a few quick bucks off the controversy.

I believe the reason is because the words were changed a bit. it was not so much the language that it was sung in, as it was the words that were edited. and like i read earlier, you wouldnt go to germany and hear their anthem sung in english... it just wouldnt be right.
Im not saying that i agree or disagree, all I am saying is that there will never be an end to this because not everyone will agree.

You have to keep in mind that the media are the ones making this a "mexican" thing... its all about ratings to them and because not many people are aware of the other immigrant nationalities, they dont bother to speak to them. the media is probably the biggest reason that this is being taken the wrong way in some cases.

I would also like to say that "illegal alien" is not a derogatory comment in anyway, especially from "white america," rather it is a legal term used for many different purposes... filled out an I-9 lately?

We cannot legalize all the illegal immigrants, or more will cross the boarder. But we cannot kick all of them out. because of the economy. I think we should keep the ones whom beem here long time and has a steady job.
And make them pay back the tax they own.
