Default Tail of the Dragon 318 curves in 11 miles

Is there any plans to get a event planed for "Tail of the Dragon? We go 2 times a year with our Honda S2000 group and have taken my TC there also. there is just nothing like it. Check out the www.S2KI.com web sight forum under "Wake the Dragon" and "Dragonball Run" We get about 200 S 2000 to go in the spring. Also check out www.dealsgap.com or www.tailofthedragon.com . You can see photo on www.Killboy.com

Be careful on runs like this. There are tons of bikes that go there and countless times they or cars have fallen off the road on a decreasing radius turn

haha! I just saw a video of a guy and his gf on his bike on the tale of the dragon. He was trying to be all ricky racer, riding beyond his limits, passing people over double yellow, etc... He took a right turn too fast, drifted over the center line into on coming traffic and got nailed by a dakota going the other direction.

I'm from there, and the only ppl that have a problem driving on this road are those who are from the flatter parts of the country. (Aka, everything in the middle)

You don't need special equipment to get through there if you don't drive like an a$$hat. I've driven the damn thing a dozen or so times and never once had a problem.

Like I said we go 2 times a year for the last 5 years and in that time our group have had a few mishaps but no one hurt to badly(one driver broke his arm when he was not driving smart). If you do just 2 things on the Dragon you will be just fine. Know what You and Your car can do and NEVER NEVER NEVER "Cross the Double Yellow Line!!!!!!!!!!!!
