Default Where did you buy your Scion??

Wassup everyone.....I have some questions....

I need to replace my beat up Honda so I want to replace it with an XB (I LOVE DAT BOX... ) .

What dealership did you buy yours from, and why?

Who has the best salespeople / service department?

Does pure pricing mean I can't haggle on these cars?

I am debating on just buying it with all the TRD stuff already installed from the dealer, or just buying it plain and buying everything separate and having a shop put it all together. What do you guys recommend?

If I go basic and start buying parts, does anyone know a reputable shop to do engine/body modifications?

Thanks for the help...

GeEkStEr

I almost forgot...I live in Chicago...so please let me know what Chicagoland dealerships and or shops are worth going to.

I can't help you with a Dealership in MI, But can tell you that I just got my "BOX" a month ago and love it! If you price around I think you will find there is no need to haggle, the xB is pretty "loaded" off the lot. If you like to add things on yourself you can shop the web and find a lot of better pricing on after market parts. The only things I would definitely get when you order yours is the rear spoiler (if you want it) and it would be good to have the armrest too. I found a toyota dealer online that sells "original" accessories for about half the price of my dealer here in Indy. Check it out www.sparkstoyota.com. GOOD LUCK!

like xBster said there is no price difference for the xB anywhere. unless a dealership adds some perks to it. i got mine from Planet Toyota in Matteson, Illinois (southwest burbs of Chicago).

personally, I would recommend buying the box stock and adding what you want after the purchase. you can find everything online, usually cheaper than from the dealer, and of course you don't have to pay the installation fee if you get it yourself.

I wasnt the most adept at modding, b4 the box, but now I would trust myself to do just about anything. and if I ever need any help I know I can count on a number of Scion owners throughout Chicago and the burbs.

u might want to start the process soon, if you want specific colors. xBs dont tend to stay on the lots very long.

good luck and if you need anything be sure to let us know.

I bought my camo box from Libertyville Toyota/Scion. I was very happy with the service and with everyone that we worked with. I've gotten my oil changed once already (1st 3 are free!) and have been very happy with the service.

I'm loving the box...it's a great car that you can customize any way you want. I got a sunroof and XM installed so I'm good to go. And it really is a pure price. If you find anyone that isn't following the rules call up Scion and let them know...they don't mess around. This was my 3rd car buying experience and the best experience yet. No hassle, no pressure...the best!

Good luck in your search...I know you'll be happy!

OK...Just went to Elmhurst Scion and spoke to a guy Igor and he was pretty nice and no pressure.

I took a white 5sp out for a test drive and I have to say that the XB drives like my larger 4dr civic but it seems like it has more room...it's like an optical illusion or something...from the outside it looks like its gonna be tiny but when you sit in it, its actually pretty roomy.

I told the wife that I am leaning more and more towards the XB so she is on board, she doesn't want me to get the 5sp, but I have some plans on modding it right away, and an auto just won't do it for me...

I really like the Shadow Mica color, but will probably have to wait to get one.

I purchased mine at Toyota/Scion of Lancaster. The people there are awesome, but I wanted the RS1.0 so I had to drive out there, but now I got to DCH Toyota of Oxnard. They're closer to me and they have awesome customer service.

I went to Signature Automotive group in Benton Harbor, and talked with Sean. He was very nice, and everyone there at the dealership was extremely friendly. I've been back already for my first oil change and have not had any problems.

Great place to go!

Tell em kaffy sent ya
