Took my Elise out last Sunday morning in Chi-Town area
sorry i missed this one, maybe i'll get a chance to make the next one.
I'm preparing for a track day, my accelerator pedal needed to be raised a bit to allow for better heel and toe so I added a Razo small pedal to the accelerator, it feels much better now since it sits closer width-wise and height-sie in relation to the brake pedal.
Here are the pics, sorry for the quality I was using my Sony W1 Point and shoot:

I think this next shot shows the distance between the brake and accelerator pedals pretty nicely. It is way better than stock IMHO.

Really, this is a very subjective thing and maybe this pedal mod won't satisfy everyone. Everyone's foot size and heel and toe technique varies. There are several adjustments one can make to this pedal to customize the pedal's position. So far I'm very happy with this mod. The proof though is in the driving so I'll report back on this when I put some seat and pedal time with this mod.

Honestly dude, again, why are you posting here? I could very easily take some pictures of a Ferrari or a Maserati and be a douche bag signing on a Scion forum and say "Gee, what a lovely day..." Maybe you need the attention. I remember those kids in high school that used to get tortured and now do just as you are. Go get a darn hobby.

Also, who gives a ____ what he posts in his regional forum, obviously he's getting respect from his region. This isn't the first thread this forum has ever seen that had a non-Scion featured.

I honestly like Scions and the cars. They have personality and that's why I frequent this forum. There seems to be a number of other members that do not want a Elise owner to be part of this forum. I have long owned and raced Toyotas and I like Scions - but since I now own an Elise I should not be part of this forum?
To the rest of the members that are ok with me being part of this forum, thanks for the nice words.

It's far from envy. I love the car, but envy is not the word. If you really love Scions, feel free. I just don't see it being the case. It seems that you are simply trying to get the attention that you have been getting. This entire forum is people like CarbonXe, drooling over your car. That seems like your goal, and it obnoxious. Again, if you REALLY love Scions, then I'm in no opposition. Just doesn't seem realistic to me.

I'm a long time racer of Toyota cars. have owned nothing but Toyota cars and trucks. Scions are just a natural progression of this and I happen to really like Scions too. I would not have bought the Elise if it did not come with a Toyota powerplant and hence the relationship between the Lotus Elise, Toyota and Scion.
Sorry that the thread bothers you quiksilver24r. I won't post anymore on this forum since it seems it causes problems on this forum and its not my intent.
i've met goretro77 at the Elmhurst Show -- and he is passionate about the toyota family and its products
who cares if someone doesn't like you posting on here -- keep doing so
i wished i could comfortably fit in the elise --if i could, a white exige would be my choice

As for fitting in the Elise - it gets easier the more you do it! Next time I see you try it some more to get the feel for it!
About the negative views:
I'm pretty let down by people like quiksilver24r and Sciontcya. These members seem to think that there is a motive behind me posting here at this forum, but they don't even know me.
Sciontcya has an issue with me posting in the 'guys and tc thread '- hes got a point and I guess its not enough to say 'I like Scions', guess I should buy a tc first before I ever post again! lol! I intend to, I just haven't yet. He is just very quick to say someone is 'weird' and label them as an outsider. According to Sciontcya I guess you got to be part of a 'click' to post there and stir sh*t up. I didn't realize that so I will not post there anymore.
I'm a huge fan of all things Toyota related - from the street cars to the race cars to the prototypes to the cars that use Toyota power. Naturally, Scions are a interest of mine.
I just wanted to vent, Thanks for reading this far.
I'll continue to be a fan and not let the negative opinions change me.

Here's a link with the Lotus Elise/Exige info:http://www.lotuscars.com
Mods so far are intake, driving lights and HID for the low beams, accelerator pedal mod for improved heel and toe,
mods to come: 5 point harness and harness bar, carbon fiber driver's seat < these are to get it track ready.
I love the Elise. Not a stupid amount of HP, not a stupid amount of torque. Just some fine damn engineering and you get a great sports car.
If I weren't buying a house, however, this would be on my list:

Just so happens to be based off the Elise too! Imagine blazin past a Porshe with nothing but the sound of the car moving through the air?

Electric cars (including Hydrogen) > Internal Combustion
The torque and power chart on the tesla site is a bit scewed (They ARE trying to sell a car), but the fact remains the same:
An electric motor has 100% of it's torque available for 100% of its useful RPM range. It's simply amazing....
