Wiring Subs help

Anyone know how to wire Subs with a switch that could help me install it in an 05 scion tc?

just curious why you're wanting them hooked to a switch? also how many subs, and are they single or dual voice coil?

just want it on a switch so i can easily turn it off an on as i please. also i dont know to much about the speakers.... http://chicago.craigslist.org/nch/ele/1759794467.html. thats the post on craigslist. i just wanted something in the meantime while i shop around for what i exactly want.

acutally forgot to mention my mom doesnt like bass either, so id like to keep her comfortable when she comes up to visit.

which head unit (cd player) do you have? or is it the stock one? because a lot of head units have a on/off button for the subs now. i've never hooked a switch up to a set up before (usually use the deck itself or the bass ****) but i'm guessing you would put a switchin the middle of the remote wire that turns on/off the amps when the deck gets turned on/off.
