Ran over a pig last night
I was driving home from Jiu-Jitsu last night and I saw something run infront of me in the back roads. I didn't bother to slow down because I figured it was a stray cat. At the last second I saw it was a baby pig. It hit my air dam but it did no damage fortunatly. It made a very loud thump and I heard it rolling under the car.
I was really surprised there was no damage. I guess I should try to avoid cats and chickens for now on. Actually I'll leave it up to you.

This F150 slammed into this stupid pig on the Kauai HWY. It totalled the truck! The guy couldn't drive it I think. Anyway the police ask the guy if he wants the pig and he said no so they made a call and someone picked it up. YUMMY!

I agree with running down animals generally if it is going to force you to scretch to a stop and have someone rear end you or make you swerve. Cows are a different story though.
Stupid chickens on Kauai, they actually take their time crossing the street, I run over the little chickies too.

yep, cows don't dart. they plod.
also, for what it's worth, the courts recently ruled that a driver is not guilty of negligence when/if they stop suddenly to avoid a road hazzard such as livestock and vermits.
