...funny thing about weather is, it is ALWAYS changing. The earth has gone through climate shifts throughout history, LONG before the human race existed, and will continue to do so LONG after we are all gone.
The existence of the human race has little, if any, impact on this cycle.

People always confuse the term Global warming to mean everything will be hotter. The principles of global warming are actually more differances in tempratures, Much more violent storms, tornadoes Hurricanes etc.

Also note that untill about ten years ago no one really mentioned the El Nina, El Nino effects on the pacific ocean, now it's mentioned every year...

As a science buff, I can see a severe cold streak and mini Ice age comming within the next 50 years, and lasting about 1000 years. It happened once before about 10000 years ago when the first people from the "old World" came to america. the melting glaciers receeding from the norther US and Canada released a huge mass of fresh water into the northern atlantic via the St. Lawrence river. It reduced the Salination (salt levels) of the water in the north atlantic causing the Northern Atlantic heat pump driven by the gulf stream to shut down. this is the same concept of the movie the "the Day After tomorrow". It scares me that the end of the epoch is coming (you know it as December 21st 2012, touted as the apocalypse fortold and hyped up lately). I have my concerns that perhaps the end of the Epoch will be the beginning of the next one with a very large world wide disturbance like this...

I understand the concern, but there really isn't much than can be done by the earth's inhabitants to avert this process. It is the continuation of the natural cycle of the earth. This process would occur whether we had polluted the earth or not. In fact, it would occur just the same had the human race never existed. Just the same as a "Global Killer" meteor impact, it has happened before and it WILL happen again. There is little we can do to change that.
All we can do is our best at continuing to exist. If nature selects us for removal, then so be it.
