I don't have it on mine... I don't want to drill the holes in it. I heard from a police officer that a new law was passed that they didn't have it on the front anymore. Well, I decided to look into other venues if it still has to be on there, such as getting a vynil sticker made of my license plate to put on the front so that I don't have to drill holes.

The bill passed in one house but not the other. You DO need to have a front plate on, but please don't drill your bumper, goto Home Depot and make a mounting bracket for it.

Yup I just got my ticket the other day for not having a front license plate. So I'm gonna have to go get that dismissed when I put in in the windshield.

grrr...ok i guess I'll have to make a run to home depot so I can mount it. I don't have the heart to drill it into my bumper.

I ride without one. I got a ticket the other month and the cop didn't even notice my missing front licence plate. But I think i'm just gonna suck it up and drill one on. If i'm a little buzzed one night I wouldn't want to give a cop an excuse to pull me over. My .02

i forgot about you!

instead of drilling it in your self. if your gonna put one on, go to home depot and make a custom bracket that attaches through the bottom grille, you can take it off for shows and not have those annoying holes.

But I plan on getting a black Grillcraft grill - just like you. And if I recall, I think the holes in that mesh are way too small. Aren't they? I think if anyone is planning to get a grill upgrade (billet or whatever), the bracket idea goes out the window. You'd be spending extra money at the possibility of scratching that lovely powder coat.

yeah i know i'm just hoping that they (cops) don't say anything - but that will be kinda hard since i work for city of duncanville and the cops are right down the hall from me. Ha!

i think when the time comes i'll go to home depot and get the parts to mount it on - this time i don't want to drill it. : )

actually I think it wouldnt be too hard to do something even with the grillecraft........ but I have no first hand expirience at it so im not infallable on that.

btw im almost starting a grillecraft revolution aound here..... am i the first in our area with it?? i dont think so, but kinda cool if I am.....
