Default Keep May 21, 2006 in mind!!!

Hey fellow Scikotics, just a reminder that Great Strides 2006, (with Scikotics/Seattle as the exclusive finish line sponsor, paired with Scion of Lake City) supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is happening out here in downtown Seattle at the Seattle Center on 5/21/06

These meets happen nationwide and it may be something you can support locally. If not though, and you'd like to contribute, (as an individual or as an entire chapter) you'd be more than welcome to.

Also, if anyone has WA connections or would otherwise like to come out here for this event I think that would be REALLY SWEET! :D I would have room for a couple folks to stay for a couple days. My place isn;t exactly HUGE, but... I'd do what I could if anyone is interested. (Just don't be allergic to cats )

Let's let families across the country know that we 'em and wanna see an end to a disease that cuts too many lives so very short!!

You can find more info about the event in our regional thread...

Thanks all!

Where's the pictures of the city when it's raining? I heard that's all it does there.

JK, I wish I could come but I think I have already over extended myself this year.

very cool...Now I really think you need to include pics of the rain though like Frankenscion said. I haven't seein it look like that since I moved here less than a month ago. Looking forward to Great Strides!

I have also taken some of the info you have given and posted it up on my other site to see if they will get involved over in VA. :D

And for Jon... (Smartass )

Of course it rains... why do you think we built a baseball stadium that does this?

but we do also have water that falls on purpose

But none of us whine about water coming down considering the alternative...

I was just kidding on the rain thing anyway. I saw a few episodes of Real World / Seattle and it wasn't raining.
