I have 2005 scion tc and here's my list of problems and attempted solutions

1. When i start the car it won't come out of park
2. The seat belt chime doesn't come on anymore
3. The ABS light is on
4. The Check Engine light is on
5. The Emergency Brake light is on
6. The tire pressure light is on and won't go off by pressing the reset button in the glove box
7. The moon roof won't close, even after i've reset it
8. The a/c doesn't blow out cold air, its just vent air
9. My speedometer doesn't work
10. Battery wasn't charging

Here is what i've tried already

1. I disconnected the battery to reset everything
2. Checked all the fuses under the hood and under the steering wheel
3. Went to autozone they ran diagnostics on it told me VSS(Vehicle Speed Sensor) was out

Here is what i've found out so far

1. I had a 7.5 fuse blown so i put a 10 in it to get to autozone to buy another 7.5, not smart i know
2. The next time i tried to start it wouldn't start so i took the battery to autozone it was bad
3. I bought a new battery
4. Took the alternator off to get it tested and it tested good

I'm so stumped help plz

 

Wow. What did you do before all of this happened? Whom did you buy your car from anyway (dealer/private)?

I'm surprised the diagnostics only put out the VSS....and even after changing the batt/ and checking the alternator the symptoms are still there (???).

Looks like you have a one way ticket to the dealer for a more thorough diagnostics, my friend.

 

yea dude idk what to tell you on this one... how come ur battery isnt charging with a new battery and a good alternator... but for #3-#5 i would get ur brakes checked, when i had a little acura, my brake light would come on because i was leaking break fluid and then my abs light came on afterwards... and as far as #6, was it on when u bought the car or did it just come on, or do you have wheels?? does it blink alot to begin with? i could be that you dont have the sensors in there that could be causing it... #8 take it to any tireshop on the westside and see if they do a freon charge, it should get ur AC blowing cold again, unless the compressor isnt working... and idk what to tell you about ur moonroof, there should be something in the owners manual about how to manually close it

 

I was attempting to put a remote wire for a amp to power subs well i shorted out something because the 7.5 fuse was blown...i'm thinking that my car thinks it was being stolen so it locked up and caused all these problems

 

well did u atleast hook up the remote wire??
