So I bought a Snapper mower used from a place we affectionately call, "The Deliverance Lawn Mower Shop."
Ran decent, but there was surface rust EVERYWHERE. It was bad, but my Minitrucker intuition told me I could fix it!
So I sanded it down, painted it flat black, and painted the engine Candy Green... (Rat Rod-ish)
Fast Forward one year... rust is coming back. SO! I said "I have an idea....!"
And that idea snow balled into what you see below, I just finished it today.











Mods:
"Rare" Rattle Can Gold Metal flake paint, w/ like 10 coats of clear.
Hand laid pinstriping
"Moon" style wheel covers
Smoothed sidewall tires
Straight exhaust
Most everything that isn't painted gold is painted gloss black.


I know there is alot of little shish messed up, just details.... but hey, its a fock'n Lawn Mower!
And I think its FN saaweett!

 

I can't see the pic due to firewalls, but will have a look when at home.

Knowing Robin it looks really good though.

Somebody has too much time on their hands!! Looks great, I love the overall pinstripe design, come pinstripe my Honda Ruckus after you practice some more.
The drop is nice too.

The exhaust isn't too bad, but when the engine is under a lot of load, it kinda crawls in your ear a lil. I wear ear plugs sometimes, just to preserve what little hearing I have left.

If you go to Lowes, and stroll through the BBQ grill section you may see some similarities...
The backs are the size that they come in, I had to trim them down for the front.
Priced right i think,and they're Stainless so.

I wish they didn't have that hole in center, but hey, its a lawmower right?
