but i can honestly see what you're saying, and if i do stress on it i might be able to get a new car out of it...because really after 1600 miles (1800 now) i shoudlnt even have to consider bringing it to the dealer for any reason

Call Gulf States.. they are the area toyota people...they make the rules.. they also enforce them.
You do have a case for a lawsuit.
don't think you will have to, I think GST will do something.

If this turns out to be true....My fee.... you owe me a Starbucks!!

hey cody...I know two people who work at Gulf States, if you want I can call them when I get off work. They are the ones that just took my car to that show in Austin, so I am already in with a few of them. I have to go to work right now, but I will give them a call this afternoon for you and let you know what you need to do....:-)

Cody....what did I tell you on Sunday...the Lemon Law...NEW CAR hahah j/p please raise hell, get mad...this is a $17k car. ITs not cheap...you shouldn't have to go throught this. Let me know what I can do....I'm just a phone call away.

yea but the thing about the lemon law is that it has to be REPAIRED 3 times...but since this is new i dont think 3 repairs should be needed

if you know the right people at Sterling McCall see if they would be willing to go above and beyond and help me out so i'll know my options...until then im calling don mcgill to get paperwork written up for each visit ive made

frustration is setting in...

went to Don McGill today for my 7am appointment ....only to hear one of the guys (not my service advisor) say "well it is obvious you're burning oil, BUT...we wont get to it today so go ahead and drive on it for the weekend and bring it monday"....thats the 4th time ive heard "im burning oil" i know that already, quit delaying my appointment and fix it already!!!!

anyways, so i left Don McGill...the didnt even offer to fill my oil up - i went to Sterling McCall...cool guys there, they couldnt find anything wrong w/ it and want me to drive on it for 1000 miles, come back and make a notation of the condition and drive for another 1000 miles, go back make 1 more notation then drive for another 1000 miles before they will service it....i dont know what that was all about but they filled up my oil and told me if i see its going down to bring it to them so they can fill it up

i got documentation entered into the system about 30 minutes ago for each visit ive made to Don McGill so i can have it for my records

im about to go ballistic with this situation

damn cody, I'm sorry all this is happening to you. Maybe I should take it to my dealership down here. They are a small dealership and never busy. I could switch out cars with you on Monday or something for a day....hopefully I will hear from Sally on Monday.
