Reluctantly I decided to put on my DC Sports header this morning by myself. I read the horror storys of the bolts being very hard to remove. It must be easier on a fairly new car, cause in an hour I was done...shocked every bolt was no problem. Easier than front spring install by a long shot. I know Hank is about to put one on, so I hope you have as good luck I as I did. The car sounds different, so Hank your exhaust noise is going up a little more. The car feels peppier for sure, but I hope it is more efficient with the fuel too. I love the growl!!

You may notice an interior mod I did last night. Jeffzilla thanks, you know what I am talking about.

Dang I didn't know Hank didn't get his and here I am already installed. Hank had called me about these and he thought both were in town, I just got to this one before he did not knowing there was only one. Sorry Hank!! Especially since he won his and I went through a trade to get mine.
It looks too damn nice PIMP. Glad you're quite satisfied with it. I just installed my CAI also but took me 2 hours to do it since my front end was a beesh to take out. I was told by Kenny that they had both in when I picked up mine. Hank, I'm
for you. Can't wait to hear the sound PIMP.

I will make you a dandy trade on my stock one.
It should be an easier install on an xA so let me know if you get one and want some help, now that I am an expert with my one and only header install.

First of all, Frank, it looks good in there.
Second: what do you mean Hanks is going to be a bit more noisy? I kept Hanks xb over one night, and when I started it up the next morning for work, that sucker was load, but I loved it.

My exhaust tone went a little louder and lower after the header was installed. My TRD muffler is fairly quiet with a good tone but I can hear more inside the car now and the exhaust note is even deeper. But mine is nowhere as loud as Hanks. My 04 was loud but i wanted a little quieter on the highway with my new one. On the cruises we have been on lately I could really hear Hank's from a pretty good distance.
I know what you mean PIMP, I've heard horror stories about installing the header. My best friend and FINALLY install mine this Saturday. It only took an hour and some loose skin, overall, painless! (for me that it, but I can't say much about my Best Friend)
For me, the hardess bolts to remove was the the bottom two, the one with the spring on them.
PS. The sound was great and man that car could turn!!! I think I've pick up a few tenth of the G-force on the turn with the header on!!! J/K J/K Overall, I love the sound, didn't notice any pep yet.

Yeah the spring bolts were the hardest and most feared, but expecting the first one to be extremely tough, I pushed very hard, but it popped loose so easy I drove my fist into the bottom of the car and let out a few expletives, but it went so smooth after that. It is sort of embarassing how small our headers are though. Looks like it would fit a lawnmower or something...hehe
