Now you find the deal. I had tint done a couple of weeks ago just down the street from that place (Audio Plus). If they have other deals, I would like to stop by and check the place out.

 

Its a new shop but, please feel free to stop in and say (shannon) sent ya and see what hes willing to do. Im not sure what his total plan on carrying items for our boxes but, he is definately impressed by our mumbers and said "If you guys show up to the Moore/Norman show our club dont have a chance in hell. We may as well not even show up.) Something I took as a great compliment. He was reffering to the club participation deal.

It'd be way too much work for me to get a passport. My only form of identification is my driver's license that I messed up trying to make it say I was 21 for the pre-party for Exposed! I'd have to replace that, get a new SS card (wallet got stolen like...2 years ago), get a new birth certificate (washed it in my back pocket after a job interview), and a couple more forms of ID. Plus it takes like...3 months to get a passport, and my birthday is hardly further away than that. I'm still going on vacation, but I think I'm gonna have to stay in the good ol' U S of A. Besides, I need tint!

 

Man...it's been 3 days and he hasn't responded to my e-mail.

I just found out today that I can get done here for $150, so it's no big deal.

 

Here's the e-mail I sent him. just in case anyone else is as dumb as me, I figure you could answer my questions here.

I just got some info from the OKC Scikotics HMFIC, Shannon about your shop. I was going to get tint in the next couple weeks on my xB, and I'd love to bring my business to your store. That is by far the best deal I have seen! I am definately going to do 5% tint. I have a few questions cause I've never had a car tinted before.

I'm not sure if you know, but xBs come with "Privacy Glass." (The back windows are stained to be like...35% already, I think.)

Is that to throw 5% tint all the way around? Or 5% on the front windows and match the back?

Do you only do a strip on the windshield, or would you be up for doing the entire windshield? (Something like...35%, my roomate has his entire windshield 5% and it's way too dark)
Of course this would not fall within the $125.

I have a radar detector suction cupped to the windshield, if I was able to get the windshield done, would I have to find another place to mount it?

How long would my car be at the shop?

OK Ill try to answer everything. I do know that the XB comes with privacy glass. It is 5% on all side and back windows. If you want the front we can do it. the Darkest well tint a front is 35%. It is way illegal and in no way are we responcible. 5% all the way around will make it uber dark in the box. A suction cup will still hold but, it may leave marks in the tint. It will take 1 1/2 hours to 2 after it gets in the shop. Thats for all the windows minus 20 or 30 minutes if you skip the windshield,

I've been wanting to do some vinyl. Barry's got a cutter and we were gonna try to come up with something, but if I'm bringing the B in for tint, I might look into getting some vinyl too!

Im there on a wierd schedual but, they are open Mon-Sat 9:00 to ??????? Its a new shop so were there all the time.
