Ok gang, here is the deal... April 15th I want to try and get as much as the club possible together for a meet and greet. Show season is upon us now, and the club needs to pull together and get this season kicked off properly. I'm going to have to check on a few things about this meet, but I would like to see if we could all meet up at the Koons Annapolis Scion and move out from there. I was thinking after we all met up, since we're in Nap-town we could head over to the harbor for some fun drive-by cruising, and then we would meet up once again at the mall for some grub and maybe a movie.

Steve, if you could check on us just using the parking lot to meet up, that would be sweet... and if you have the swag still, bring it.. that'll be tight too.

I want to get as much of the club in one place at the same time to let everyone meet one another. Participation on the boards have been pretty limited, and I dont want to see this club fall apart after such a great start.

I want every person that calls themselves a member of this chapter there. This meeting is now deemed MANDATORY meaning that you will be required to be there unless there is a major emergency. And by emergency I mean death, dismember, apocolipse, or armageddon. There will be some very serious and important thing discussed at this meeting.

Ok, I just got off the phone with Steve (kandyman) and he's informing me that Koons Scion of Annapolis is on board with this meet. I'm being told that they're going to be providing some money towards food and movies if we'd like it, and of course I like it, as should you... so big props to Steve for pushing this issue...

Steve is going to need some participation for this meet so that Koons can see that we're serious about this stuff. If we can get Koons on board for future meets, we'll have a great location for meets and greets or cookouts. What does this mean for you individually??? Make sure your ___ is there, if you’re part of this family, it’s that time of the year that you’re going to have to make your presence known... I personally have been with other clubs that fell apart or aren't as enthusiastic as most of you guys/gals... I don’t wanna lose that touch. I foresee some big things popping off in our near future as a club... lets please get the participation levels up. Everyone in this club has something they can bring to the table; let me see what you got.

More orders of business, we need to get a timeframe setup in like the next few days so that Steve can let Koons know what times we plan on doing this thing... also for those that are trying to attend... spread the word guys/gals, especially on ScionLife...

Where can I get more info about the Maryland chapter. I just bought my Scion tC on saturday and am interested in meeting other tC owners (I know the club includes all Scion owners, but obviously for me, tC's are what I like).

I went to the link in your signature bignoog, but they site is very speratic and to do anything, it seems I need to sign up for their forums.

Ive never been a member of a car club before so I am kinda curious as to what all is involved before I join one.

 

just show up that sunday and you can see wat its like!!! but you dont really have to do anything to be a member!!! you can be bone stock and be a member... the only requirment is that you love scions and you support the chapter by trying to show up at meets.... the whole club is about us scion guys getting together hangin out learning about our cars and going to shows together!! plus by being apart if the club youll get discounts for certain things on the website!! certain companies give out discounts for all scikotic members and hopefully my dealership will be able to help the club out as well???? but all in all its a place to learn about your car hang out have fun go to car shows.... scion is not about a hobby... its a lifestyle and we hope you can enjoy it with us????

 

I will definetly swing by (baring any serious issues) to see what its all about. What time on the 15th does this all start?

 

dont have an official time yet but ill be here at the dealership to open things up and to get some stuff ready probally before 12 i would imagine all this stuff would happen mid afternoon???? ill talk to heath and stu and let you know!!!!

April 3rd-
Alright, spoke with Steve again; I was trying to figure out a timeframe for this event... I've ran into a minor problem, the movie cinema @ the mall wont know the show times until the 10th... I don’t want to wait until the 10th to decide on a time, so I'm going to make a command decision now and say we're going to start this thing off at around 11am on the 15th @ the dealership. Between Steve and me we'll setup everything for the food and drinks... once the 10th rolls around, I'll figure out if and when the movie Redline is playing at that cinema... I know on Sunday's movies usually run until 4-6pm or so... By making this thing start off at around 11am, we'll be able to compensate for a later show if we start earlier... or if they start earlier, we'll have everyone together early enough to make the movie on time. So it's official guys/gals... 15th @ 11am @ Koons!!! More details to follow...
Steve, we'll talk about getting the funding for the movie tickets at that time... understand everyone that there may only be a limited number of tickets... so if your planning on attending the movie let me know now so I can mark you down... if your coming to this show, let me know... this is very important, Steve needs a count.

Although I too am not sure on the movie yet. My guest lifes far from me so would need to make sure she is able to get home after the event in a reasonable amount of time.
