I will be there about 10:30 to open up the showroom, so regardless of weather you guys will be able to chill in the showroom. If it rains I'll just set up the grill on the side and everyone can just eat inside.

Thanks for all the help Chris. Oh and by the way when I stopped by the other day they wouldn't even look at the car without an appointment. Go figure.

Sorry about that Bro,

Unfortunately I don't have any pull on that side of the dealership. They don't listen to me.

Well it was a great turn out. We have a TON of new members. Some nice new additions to the chapter, and hey we FINALLY have an xA.

Mehr I don't know what's up but you should have been there. It was a very important meeting. Oh well I guess you have your priority's and we just aren't one of them. Hope to see you soon.

no there not mandatory!!! but this one was... had alot of important stuff to go over and it was to see who is serious about the club!!! i mean come on theres no club dues or anything!!!! no requirments to be in the club!!!! i dont think its alot to ask for someone to show up to a meet !!!!!!! plus we needed to make a good appearence bc we have my dealership wanting to sponsor us and there was a scion rep that showed up and he wanted to see a good turn out!!! if he likes wat he saw then in the future we can go to him when we need stuff..... like funding...cough, cough!!!!!

on a side note...... great meet guys!!! really glad you all could make it and i deff see some potential with this club!!!! dont forget lets try to get together next month for the tfs meet up in owings mills!!!!!

Team, I want to thank you for those that showed up for this meet. I know with the weather and other events that you may of had planned, it may have made this meet a little difficult; but for those that did make it your dedication and motivation is exactly what this club needs!

Overall the turnout was a lot greater than I expected. I figured that Mother Nature would have affected the vast majority of the club, but alls well that ends well. Steve, Chris and Mr. John Lawall I really appreciate your extra hard work to get this thing off the ground. I know it wasn't the most advanced notice, but you made it happen, and for that I owe you one! Mr. John Lawall is the Scion District Manager for that area, and was the "man" whom we also owe an extra special thanks to. Without you three, this meet wouldn't have turned out the way it did.

As for everyone, I'm glad we all had to chance to meet everyone and familiarize ourselves with each other and our Scions. Everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves. Food was great, the cruise didn't quite work as well as planned, but we managed it. Side note: Next time that'll have to be planned out as well and everyone should make it a point to get numbers of other members so we can stay in contact... Haha! Movie, although it could have been on mute the whole time, was ok... I think the producer spent more money on the cars and women than the cast and plot. Oh, and I think my next investment will be the CCX... Haha, don’t I wish! Though the weather didn't hold too long after the movie, the few shots that we could squeeze in were fun.

For those of you who couldn't fit this into your schedule, the most important bit of information that was to come out of this meeting was the announcement made by Heath aka Noog. Some of you may or may not know, but Heath suffered a great loss in his life with the passing of his mother, and seeing as how this club is all about family first, he's found it in his best interest to move back to Texas to be with his family and friends in this time of rebuilding and mourning. I will be assuming the role of the club president and Chris aka Diddy will be stepping his game up to become my right hand man as club VP. This choice was my own, and in NO way is this choice because of anything anyone may or may not have done. Just remember that each and everyone of you in this club pulls equal weight and shouldn't be viewed as someone’s subordinate... we're all equal in my eyes and my club will not change from what my boy Heath and I based the foundation off of. In his respect, everything will remain the same and the underlying ideas that brought this whole thing together will remain in tact! We’re about family and friends, and most importantly our love for our Scions.

Heath, as for you big dog, you know I cannot thank you enough for what you brought here to Maryland. Not only were you my boy, but you became family. Your departure back to Texas will be a HUGE loss to the club and personal lives of each and every one of us. But I know that you know this club will continue to stand and will continue to grow just as you and I set out to do at the beginning of this year. I took the role of the VP from the jump because I knew that you and I were onto something. I think with Diddy and the rest of the family beside me, we’ll build this thing into something that everyone can enjoy and share with family, friends and other Scion enthusiasts!

Again, thank you guys for all your support and dedication… it’ll be rewarding, this I promise!

Stu Gotti

We don't make people do that. But if they want all the perks of being an SE member then $40 is well worth it. That $40 has saved me at least $1000 no lie.

It's not a debate. Just clearing up a common mis-conception
