But really the majority of the gains on those is because it cranks the boost up big time.

EDIT: John, do you need a garage to work in? You're more than welcome to come to my house and do it in the garage. Just let me know.

Haha that would be awesome! I couldn't even get off the hill I live on yesterday, and we have to go to my mother's house today, so it looks like my plans are postponed until next weekend...

Yeah that weather was crazy. Then most of it melted yesterday. Can't wait for the warm weather.

Joe, sorry I can't offer much help. I don't know much at all about audio stuff.

I am audio ignorant, sorry.

I do think that you should get like a 20" sub though. That would be HOT! =)

Well I am glad I came across this. Its good to hear that people in the area are trying to get together. My name is Mark and I have a 05 FM and I am from Charleston and living in Barboursville near the Huntington Mall. I would love to meet up sometime when I come to Charleston even though its not very often because on the weekends I work at Envy Nightlife in Huntington on Fri and Saturday evenings. On the audio question.. I had 2 12" Alpine Type R's in my tC and they sounded good. It all depends on the amp you have running them. The problem is is getting them to fit back there. I had a huge box that caused problems with the hatch and I ended up just going with one. Also I wanted trunk space and two just didnt work. I used to work in the roadshop at Circuit City here and I know a little bit about audio. Also my AIM screen name is vanwildermu

Mark,

I meant to mention this thread to you when I was posting in your thread about what to purchase, but I forgot.

Anyway, next time we decide to get together (probably not again until warm weather gets here and stays) we will definitely get ahold of you.

I've got a set of the Yellow VRD's to go on my car. I just need the weather to cooperate. I may try to put them on this evening. I just need to get time to get my retrofitted headlights on and get them aimed so I can seal them up and mark that project off the list as well.

Yeah man if the weather is good I'd be down for some pb action. I'm scheduled off this weekend, so unless somebody gets sick, I'll be off. I rebuilt both my guns a few months ago cause I planned on getting back into the game this year. So all my stuff should be good to go.
