Okay guys here's the first step.

Have any of you guys gone to any of the Bert Wolfe shows?

 

I know some of the other guys have, I just got my tC in December, so I'll probably check it out this year.

You guys come down from PA for them?

Like one of you said when we met up at Target, the more we can cruise around and meet up, the more people will see us and come see what's up. That's how the group I ran around with in college got big. We would just go hang out in a lot and people would come over and start hanging out with us. Or if we saw a car when we were rollin' around we'd catch them and tell them to follow us. We never had a formal "club", but we had a lot of people that met up. I'm sure when the weather finally gets nice and we can meet up more.

Plus if we can get the Scikotics thing going, maybe we can go to the dealerships and talk to their Scion people. Let them know and maybe they can tell new buyers about us. I'm going to sign up on their site too.

The Bert Wolfe show was the weekend before I bought my xB, but I plan on coming this year.

 

Go to the thread I made and post up. It only takes 3 to get it started!

 

Yeah a small group of us comes down. I know Will at the dealership. But I have not talked to him in a few months. Usually this is when he starts to plan the show. So hopefully I can meet some of you guys.

 

Let's go guys, 2 more people post up on Scikotics and we get our own forum!

i'm turbo_tc on there and i think i'm gonna change my name to that on here too. thats 4 lets get it started.

Also I was at the Bert Wolfe show this past July. Its a good show except for the fact that the majority of ppl that won didn't really have all that nice of cars. I know one girl from PA, Amanda she won in one class and deserved higher since she had more done to her tC than any others out there. I'm hopin that changes and ppl that should win this yr do win instead of friends votin for friends.

That's the only problem with a really small show. Just the way it goes unfortunately. I learned that a long time ago. It's more fun just to go and hang out and see what other people are doing with their cars.

 

Hey Thomas!!! Its Melissa.... I talked to you for a bit at the show. I agree that Amanda should have won for a higher class. Her car is really nice and she puts tons of work into it.

LOL no worries. This way if you all are having a meet you can let us know. Kind of a long haul, but I'm sure some of us could make it.

 

That would be pretty nice of you guys to do that.

I know its a bit of a further drive but their is going to be a huge picnic on May 3rd closer to Harrisburg.

I signed up on scikotics a week or two ago same user name I will look for the WV thread on there.

I was at 2 of bert wolfe shows but didn't enter it should have I would have gotten a trophy lol. first one I had my 05 BSP tc (1st tc to be purchased in wv) then the last one i had my 07 CSM TC i only had a system in it and tinted windows at the time. I just stopped by for a few hours both times.

 

Hi afflicted. We actually have a chapter forum over there now. So you just have to go to the regional section under West Virginia it has Charleston.
