Hey all, im not new to the scion world but a new owner, were is all the comradary in this community. I used to own a 03 mazdaspeed protege, and was always in and out of the msprotege.com forums. It was rare to pass a Mazda in knoxville without a lil flash of the headlights, but it seems like I pass scions all the time and the drivers always have stupid look on their face when I show a little love by flashing my headlights when passing, or honk the horn.

Out of the past 3 months that I have owned this car, I have only been able to make contact in this way with one Polar White xB in the clinton area, and i'm pretty sure that the only reason he/she is flashing back is because I am also rolling in a Polar White xB.

Can I please get little love?

I have seen a few tc's wave to each other, but i mean what is it group up according to car? I can't seclude myself to just xb's cause i love all the scions. I been looking at these cars since their release. my 03 mazdaspeed protege, got me in alot of trouble, tickets, highrisk insurance, and more. I wanted to roll a tc, but I also need to keep myself out of trouble, so the xb was the way to go. I have rolled by many a police officer in the xB speeding, and they seem to not notice.

lets just put it this way, 3 tickets in 3 weeks, and then a wreck, not in the mazda on the 4th week in december 3 years ago = $269 a month for insurance...

 

i have not had a ticket since I got my C, I got it in May.....

 

you have way more control than i do, i often find myself wanting to run something even though i know im driving an electrical appliance (toaster)

 

i just get real lucky and know some spots they like to set....

 

it just seemed that I was having a bad month I had that car for over 2 years and luckily no tickets then all the sudden i got 3 in a row and 2 were by the same police officer. all 3 were 22 over speed limit i had a aggressive driving and improper lane change and something else can't remember. then, i decided to switch cars with my dad for a few he had a 02 lancer oz rally hoping i'd hang low for awhile, and i took this girl out and it was lightly raining outside and i was showing off pulling the e-brake and kicking it out on this old back curvy road @ 3 in the morning never seen a car on that road that late at night, and i came around this turn and hit a car head on well not directly headon i was able to pull it back over and we glanced off one another causing $3500 in damage to the lancer, and totalling the guys 626. and next thing i know my insurance got dropped and i had to run to geico for high risk. Oh well runs in my family just about all the guys at my age were on high risk.

 

I got a speeding ticket in my Polar White xB about two weeks ago in Putnam county.
It was about eleven thirty at night and I needed to be in Nashville at eleven. I was coming over the mountain at about ninety and saw cars in front of me hitting their brakes. I started slowing down but was still doing 80 in a 65 when I passed the trooper. Bummer.
He was pretty cool though, he asked me if I knew I was doing eighty and I looked at my car and said "really? awesome!"

No, I think that's Deena actually... young lady, blonde hair. Really wonderful person btw.
I hate it that we've reached a point where I can't remember everyone who's gotten a Scion. For the first year or two I knew every Scion I passed on the road, but the old brain cells aren't working as well as they used to and there are more Scions out there now.
I still flash the lights and wave whenever I see one though.

Hey all, I can tell you right now, I try to show some Scion love whenever I can. I see tons of xB's out and always try to wave or say hi. Ryan, we should plan an event and you can meet some of us that arent snobby.

well im on vacation all this week... i am busy tomorrow and wednesday not sure wut im doing thursday or this weekend.. i hope i get my 2" goldline springs in tomorrow

 

Hey if you Knoxville turd's don't invite the Chatt-town scions to your get together we will be mad! And just might show up and take all of your trophies at your show again this year Sujeel!! HAHAHAHA! Seriously if you get something together give us a shout, we are always up for meeting new owners!
