She's a cutie, she was in one of our television commercials talking about getting her tC. It was on tv about six months ago.
Anyway, I don't know if she'll be working on the day of, I'd actually forgotten to say anything to her about it.
Date for the bowling event will be Friday, October 27. I'll start a thread about it by next monday.

It was actually a commercial for the Toyota Knoxville dealership, but half the testimonials were from Scion customers!

We shot another commercial a few weeks ago as well and had a couple of Scion folks in it. They wouldn't let me be in it... something about not needing to reach the homely demographic... go figure.

homely demographic? is that not racist wtf is up with that? next commercial you guys do lemme know i should have my ride lowered and maybe wheels by then. if scion is trying to reach the 25 and under age group then they truely need to show some modded scions in their commercials.. ps my experience with ur guys service department was far beyond anything i would have ever expected, everyone was so nice, and they actually for the first time did wut they were supposed to with my manual, previous cars i owned the dealerships never did this.. i was very impressed and she told me it would be about 45 mins and i would be out the door it was literally 15 mins and i was on my way.

oh and also, tell jason i said hi, i saw him in walmart a few times he's a nice guy actually both of you are, i felt kinda bad that i was unable to buy the car from you considering we have been talking about this for a long time, but jason did an excellent job normally buying a car there is that akward silence whenever your credit is going through but jason kept the conversation alive and really braught things to a personal level for me and my family. and he truely looked happy to be working, alot of time you get a salesman and its like your the last thing on his mind... selling the car is always the top priority and with jason it just wasn't that way. I have not recieved one of those how did we do style things in the mail so i didn't know how to go about appreciating scion of knoxville for their above and beyond job, maybe you can print this and give it to your manager or tell me how i can go about sending a letter or something. oh and the finance manager was a great guy to i can't remember his name but he was a great guy and was doing everything in his power to make payments cheaper on me, infact we were so involved in conversation that i forgot to sign a portion of the forms and he made a personal trip to see me at work to get it signed. now thats customer service.

No man I said HOMELY, not HOMIE. Definitely not racist!!

Thanks for the great comments. Sometimes it's challenging because we have a very limited staff for the Scion department, but one of the benefits is that the people working with Scion really believe in the product and care about doing it right. Another benefit is that there's such a level of teamwork that it's not about stepping on someone else's toes (salesman-wise) like at a traditional car sales environment. I appreciate that you felt bad about not buying from me, but the truth is, I'm just glad you bought a Scion.
--and I've got complete confidence in the way you're representing that before long someone is going to show up at this store to buy a Scion saying "Ryan sent me...".

well, my friend tried to buy an xa from you shortly before i met you the first time but he couldn't get financed... his name was mike (i believe, haven't seen him sense he quit walmart) you did everything in the world.. or maybe it was he couldn't get insurance i don't remember reguardless he told me u did everything u could to make it work.

i know you said homely LOL but you don't look homely at all your very professional so what did they mean by that? i didn't mean racest by ethnicity, but more along the lines of prejudice.. thats the word i was looking for not racist..

Oh, I was just busting on myself. Brad Pitt doesn't have to worry that I'll be taking Angelina away from him anytime soon.

Your friend Mike --I don't want to say his last name-- but is his wife named Katie and he's got a two year-old daughter? If that's who I think it is those guys are so nice, it killed me that we couldn't get it done.

Boy, sorry for hijacking this thread, anyone else want to talk about something?

cool, I like the keychain, did you find that on ebay?
I've done some things to my Scion, mostly Scion accessories, plus the TRD 18" rims, the TRD interior and the cruise control. The rest of it is Scion accessories like the TYC taillights, the door sill enhancements, the underdash/cup holder illumination and so on...
I really want to add heated seats, but I haven't taken the plunge yet

yeah, it was a TRD special back when the xB first came out. I tried to find a picture of it online but can't find it anywhere (you'd think I would have a picture or two of my car somewhere, but I don't). Anyway, I like it, but it gets COLD in the winter, heated seats would really be nice.

lol
I do that sometimes, when I'm driving a car other than my Scion I'll still honk and wave at other Scions! It's only when I get a strange look back that I remember I'm not in the Box.

I've got a thread for a Scion event next week. Any Scion peeps are welcome
