Just so people know, I ended buying an xA from the dealer in Florida. This meant a long drive home in a brand new car, but the dealership located the xA I wanted while it was still on the boat -- apparently I got the only one of that type destined for the Southeast.

Toyota West of Statesville is where I got mine. So far they have been pretty helpful, the guys I deal with greet me and still remember my name when they see me come in and ask how things are going etc. No complaints on my end

I got mine from Leith Toyota/Scion in Raleigh. It was the fastest purchase I ever made, with very friendly people. The only thing that bothers me about them (and Anderson and Jacobson) is the slim selection of 5-speeds... but then again, one time when I drove a friend to Hendrick Chevrolet to get an Aveo, they only had automatic 'vettes, so maybe it's the area. But really, that was my only issue, and I'd do business with them again.

EDIT: OH... One thing about Mark Jacobson Toyota/Scion in Durham. They also sell Suzuki's there and service all three in the same spot, and I bought one from them before. Some Aerio's have a bad alignment problem (and they know because there is a TSB) causing tires to wear out at 10-12k miles. Their service department sucks. I bring the car in for the alignment issue and they start asking me to produce oil change receipts to see if the warranty was still good. WTF? If they have the best deal, by all means buy there, but beware their service department.

same here. I'm definately wishing I went to West Ashley Toyota/Scion to get my tC. None of the sales persons seemed to know anything about the Scions at Gene Reed. I pretty much had to ask something and wait while he ran inside to look it up. My first oil change with them was a bad experience as well...they "forgot" to put the engine oil cap back on after changing it.

Default Fred Anderson

I just bought my 2006 Scion XB yesterday from Carl Anderson at Fred Anderson Scion/Toyota in Raleigh. That guy was great. I never even spoke to him or met him until yesterday. I did it all via email. He got the color, car, and wheels in a week and then we finally met just to sign the papers and roll out with it. I recommend him.

Leith Toyota in Raleigh. Cal Mason rules! TOtally unlike your typical salesman. My wife and I visited twice and test drove (then talked his ear off about the xb) before coming back and trading in our Beetle. I never felt any pressure or that he was impatient or bugged with our questions, interest, non-purchasing visits.

I got my Tc at Mark Jacobson. You could tell all they wanted to do was make a sale. That's probably true with anywhere right now. I got a loan through my credit union and that helped me out a lot. Besides the salesmen, the managers or the people who work the numbers behind the desk were total ****** and I didn't get along with them too well. That was even with the understanding of their "no haggle" pricing. I just felt jerked around too much. Another thing that really ____ed me off was when I got home, I noticed the car didn't come with floor mats. Who does this?? Apparently everyone. I dunno. Doesn't make any sense to me. I was out of luck. I'm still ____ed about it though. I basically went there cuz I found a really nice Tc at a reasonable price with really low mileage. Plus Mark Jacobson has the 35,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and free lifetime warranty which no other dealership had at the time. As far as the service dept., they are really good and they always get me right in. They keep in good contact with me and if I haven't heard from them in a while, I know to expect a courtesy call letting me know they didn't forget about me.

Yeah, that's what I've been hearing. But don't ask me how I feel about it. I could go on and on for days about those floor mats. I gotta spend the money and get some real scion mats instead of these wal-mart ones...

yeah the walmart ones suck. ever see the rubber mats they offer in the Tacoma and Tundra? thats what i want. The clutch area of my floormat is pretty warn down now. plus i think their is 7578965 pounds of sand in all the mats in my xB.

I live in Burlington and originally went to *** Toyota. They're terrible. From sales to service. After doing a little bit of research I landed on Fred Anderson Toyota on Glenwood in Raleigh and went to them.

Their great. Great people, great service and parts department. My experience with them as a whole has been absolutely stellar. Definitely worth the drive.

Geez man... you're like the 10th person since Monday who've been gushing about the Fred Anderson dealership. Might need to check them out.

I got mine from *** in burlington... i had no problems. they got exactly what i wanted with no trouble... they actually installed my sport package or whatever... spoiler, illumination lights and fog lights for me at the dealership...

Not sure the reasons why "they're terrible" but i had no problems.
