Default NEED HELP FROM ANYBODY IN THE LEGAL PROF.

That includes lawyers, lawyers in training and police for info. My wife got a speeding ticket 46 in a 30 and I am looking to fight it. Not to get out of if, I don't want to pay a tax of 130 bucks to the city. They get enough of my money. It happened in hastings if that helps. Also I don't need my insurance to go up. So I am going to fight this. Any help would be great.

Was she traveling at that speed? Got any excuses that would fit the situation? IE: You were trying to get into the right lane to make a turn, but the car next to you wouldnt let you over...even though you had your blinker on. So you had to speed up to get around him quick, because there was a line of cars behind him and you wouldnt be able to slow down and get behind him to make the turn.

If you want it off her record, you can do the probation thing. Where you will probably have to pay about $200 and not get any moving violations for a year.

I got a 47 in a 30 and currently on the probation thing.

If she has a clean record, I would try to go the 12 month probation route. You will probably have to pay a "fee", but if she stays clean for 12 months, it won't go on her record. Talk to the city attorney.
