Default Xb Hauler

I continue to marvel at the hauling capacity of my xB. In the past two weeks I have transported the following with the back hatch fully closed:

1) Full size Kenmore clothes dryer (Had an extra foot of room from the top of the dryer to the front seats) Transported on it side.

2) 10 8ft long baseboards from Home Depot. I think you could probably get a 9 footer in and still close the back.

Kudos to the Toyota designers for making the xB such a versatile vehicle.

Yea, these cars haul alot of stuff. Its nice.
I was able to put all of my wedding presents in the car and drive them home from the opening spot. Car was about 2 more inches lower then already being lowered lol.

The only thing I've tried to fit in mine is a couple of full-sized bikes ... they fit, even without having to remove the front tires.

Four adults and all the sails from a 32foot sailboat along with some of the removable instrumentation. Rode a little heavy but didn't bottom out at all over the railroad tracks and I still got over 40mpg. I also have carried a 16 foot extension ladder inside with the hatch closed although it could handle it better if the passenger seat was a little lower or the dash a little higher under the glove box.

Can you get 4x8's in there or did you leave the hatch open?
