well you did make the same typo twice in the same thread...

and if you want them to go easy on you, you need to show them respect by knowing their names.

I remember those state writing tests I had to take every few years in school... they actually took points away if you made a typo only once but didn't if you made the same typo over and over again. The reason was they wouldn't penalize you for simply not knowing how to spell a word, but just for mistyping it.

So, I think this dude will get off with no jail time because that seems to be how the world turns. hahah Meh, I'm just

Not to beat a dead horse but like the rest have said you deserve what you get. I'm not going to lecture you because thats not what you need. The worst part about all this and that the judge is going to see is that you tried eluding the cops. I would be very very surprised if you didnt lose your license for longer than a year. Jail time i doubt but you will be looking at alot of fines along with lawyers fees & court costs. Now when they suspend your license I would highly reccomend not driving while its suspended do you really want a $500.00 fine? I dont think so. Now it does sound a little wierd that you dont smoke weed yet you have baggies in your car. So you're court date is tomorrow well good luck with that. Wear a suit and be very respectful to the judge.

i don't know what world everyone lives in...but nothing he did deserves jail time. (not responding to you dispatcher.)

yes, it was wrong and bad...but not a major criminal charge.

in the real world, he should get a major fine, lots of points on his driving record, maybe lose drivers lic for a bit.

because he is now 'playing the system' he will get off with a little less...

totally agree with HotLava.
jail time is not deserved in this and it's not the answer.
realistically dude, you're looking at a major fine, major points, and license suspension. also probably a whole slew of driving courses that will run you 100 bucks a pop.
hope you get a fair decision at court.
and yes, people do crazy things when under pressure. too bad you cracked.

I didn't imply he should have jail time. That would suck. The potential for him doing something to warrant jail time was there, but none of that happened. Fines and revoked license for a year is probably the way to go here. A year to remember why you'll never even think of doing stupid junk in your car again... and many fines to remind you.

my lawyer defended one guy who thought he was gonna just get a ticket for 137 in a 55.
when they got to court he was arrested for eluding. apparently there was another LEO sitting on the same highway a few miles and saw the guy, and tried to pull him over but he couldnt keep up. so they arrested him, suspended his license. Im not sure how long he was in jail for but i know its a 10 year max

yes they can, but unless it is really found in certain locations (ie on his person) it is not going to hold up well in court.) and if it is not something specially designed for drug use/sale/dist, it is just a common product not para.

belive it or not, just about everybody here could be charged with para...you have a $20 in you pocket right??? i bet it will test positive for drugs.

thats the reason why it is hard to pin para on somebody.

plus, you don't get jail for para in these parts...

Good Luck. and don't ever race when you know you have something you shouldn't have in you car.
