Well im glad you have decided to race at the track now but it shouldnt take being arrested. But at any rate I also dont think jail time would be neccessary. I think fines and points would be more appropriate. Also taking away your license might teach you a lesson but who knows that up to you. But those baggies are good enough to be charged with paraphanelia and if an officer sees them on the floor you will pretty much have your car searched. Para isnt hard to prove and also the issue of coke on the dollar bill for para is a technical thing. yes techinally you could be but you will be charged with something else before that will ever happen. because they would have to test the bill. And the comment about cops selling drugs its pathetic. But like I said I hope you have learned your lesson when you go to court because if you ever do it again and are arrested the judge will not be lenient at all.

in reference to the coke on bills check this out

I just read this thread and wanted to comment. The kid seems contrite and acknowledges his wrong doing since page one. Why all the hateful wishing and bashing? Everyone makes mistakes, I was pulled over for drag racing at 16 as well. I learned my lesson and track is where I race now. The kid should not go to jail for this. He is also right about the hypocrisy. Every time someone posts a video drag racing a civic,sti, or whatever other car, they all get praise and cool points for the most part, while here, 90% of you just came to bash.

On another note, I hope you learned your lesson, and from what I read you have. Wait out a year and good luck.

Just tried reading thru all of this, it's damn near impossible to read the original posters posts. Since this is your first offense, you will most likely get off with minimal punishment, which in this case, is going to be traffic school, community service, suspended license..etc. If the judge is in a bad mood that day, you could go to jail for the weed. That's probably the dumber of the two things, and I don't care if it's not yours...that just gives it even more reason for you to NOT have it and to know that you should kick the ____ out of your friends who are attempting to give it to you. Anyway, just found this one for eluding the police in the state of New Jersey ;

b.Any person, while operating a motor vehicle on any street or highway in this State or any vessel, as defined pursuant to section 2 of P.L.1995, c.401 (C.12:7-71), on the waters of this State, who knowingly flees or attempts to elude any police or law enforcement officer after having received any signal from such officer to bring the vehicle or vessel to a full stop commits a crime of the third degree; except that, a person is guilty of a crime of the second degree if the flight or attempt to elude creates a risk of death or injury to any person. For purposes of this subsection, there shall be a permissive inference that the flight or attempt to elude creates a risk of death or injury to any person if the person's conduct involves a violation of chapter 4 of Title 39 or chapter 7 of Title 12 of the Revised Statutes. In addition to the penalty prescribed under this subsection or any other section of law, the court shall order the suspension of that person's driver's license, or privilege to operate a vessel, whichever is appropriate, for a period of not less than six months or more than two years.
So good luck, and just be happy that he didn't get you on radar at over 120 (I'm assuming that he didn't), because you could be charged with attempted murder.
