on another note, does anyone know how hard it would be to place LED's inside the xB's speaker grilles in the doors and such? i think tim and john, you guys have done door lights right?

not my fault they re-designed the xB's to be less boxy like the xD's are.

God forbid someone has an opinion. You don't see me jumping on any of you for other things posted, yet you might be hitting something I like. I only say it because it's my opinion.

And remember. public forums. if you can't deal with some constructive criticism, then get off. i personally think they should've stuck with the design the xB was. isn't that why the xD was invented? to have a choice to have..

1) a car (tC)
2) a SUV (xB)
3 a mixed car/SUV (xD)

The xb is by far not a an SUV

its a "Micro Wagon" the XD is just another lift back

It all depends on how much wire you want to run. The speaker grills shouldn't be any harder then the air vents. I am not sure about the doors. I think Tim has his in there so you would have to ask him on that one.

 

putting the LEDs in there is the easy part. Getting the wire through that door grommet, thats the PITA.

 

Kustomplay is right, that is definitely a 2nd gen xB. Scionlife doesn't have a default avatar for the xDs yet.

1) Isn't someone allowed to have an opinion on if they like a car or not? Heck Scion even has their commercials about it, Love it or Hate it.

2) Sorry if you own one and don't like a person opinion, get used to it and over it. I have heard a thousand times about how rice or stupid or ugly my car is.

So, if I do the math right, I have roughly 14 more good years. Then I'll ram my Buick Park Avenue into a bridge at high speed. And, I'll leave my left turn signal on for ya!!! Now I have a plan. I need to look for one of those stylin' slanty hats.

 

Just make sure that the color is green. Have you even noticed that if you are stuck behind an old man driving really slow or not following the lines of the road most of the time it is an old man with a hat on driving a green car.

 

I wish I had 14 more good years, and Rob I got the hat all ready. I just need to get rid of the box for the Buick Park Avenue. Maybe I will get a Yaris instead and start jacking threads from the West Coast as well.

 

Yaris is by far an old mans car, i think it beats out anything buick
