the 3S should fit once we mod the I beam, the problem is finding a tranny to fit the stock shifter location. Were thinking old supra tranny

 

That's why i knew it looked familiar! lol. Dad has an MG Midget and rolls with all sorts of other British cars. Can't wait to see progress

 

this is my first british car

i was looking at datsun S2000 roadsters just to stay in the japanese fmaily but i couldn't pass up this classic roadster. Im going to have to add a british flag to the wall in the garage now.

Im really hoping the 3S works out, it will be the 1st spitfire with a 3S setup. Only issue is going to be mating the tranny, we could use the stock 4 speed but i wouldn't be as ideal as a newer 5spd.

I have a lot of research to do. I also have the option of using a Black Top Beams motor out of an Alteza (is300) but i would like to save that as im ditching the yaris this year just in case i end up with an IS300. I was planning on getting a MR2 spyder but i have a roadster now so i have no clue what i want anymore so im hoping this 3S motor will work and then this things going to be a rocket

Hi guys. Need some recommendations on getting the following in the Cranberry Township area:

Tinting: Was planning on going to Ziebart. But since they did it the first time in 2005 and the left side has been peeling, I want to see if there is something better.

Brakes: Was planning on going to Monro.

Oil Changes: Where you recommend? I usually go to a friend's place in VA.

tint = usually car audio shops do tint
brakes & oil change = why would you pay somebody to do that for you??
