Okay so a good friend of mine had the unfortunate event of seeing idiot/jealous teenage ****** go near his motorcycle while he was in Wawa yesterday...and when he came out his bike was on its side. They had pushed it over. He knows it wasn't hit by accident because one side has no damage to it, and he saw them eyeing it while he was inside. No one got the plates of the kids who did it, and he doesn't want to bother with going with insurance unless he has to.

To make the story short, in addition to replacing some parts, he needs to get his bike repainted. It's a Yamaha r6. I wanted to know if any of you guys can help him out/get him a deal with getting it repainted...whether you or someone you know can. Think of it as a favor to me, I'd really appreciate it. He'd even help out with the whole process if needed. My friend is an awesome guy who wouldn't ____ anyone off and I hate to see something so ridiculous happen to him.

It's currently the red and white r6, but he was thinking of getting it repainted either dark silver/grey...flat black or black with clear coat. If anyone has any idea how much it'd cost to get it done, pleeeease please let me know.

It's my answer to almost everything (no, not duct tape)-check www.craigslist.org in your area for people who paint for a good price or see if there is anyone on there selling a bike that has painted it and try to get some info on prices and who did it. Good local info usually.

 

linds, pm bobby and get len's info from him. i lost his email address LOL. Len painted my front lip for me right before HIN boston and did a killer job.

Side note:
Wouldnt flat black with a clear coat on top of it defeat the purpose of flat black?

oh and what i meant was some either the whole thing flat black, or the whole thing clear coated black...OR mostly flat with some parts clearcoated.

 

Well, not sure if you want to travel all the way to CT, but I have a couple flat black projects cooking and could do the bike parts at the same time. Let me know
