I need to go to some car shows that give out $$$ prizes, to help pay for all my mods, lol...! haha, I wouldn't win anything anyway, my luck... man, I just added up all my mod costs yesterday, I didn't realize in just 4 months I put over $4,000 into that little cylon of mine - heck, I could have bought me a cadillac for that almost, Big Jim!!!

On the same weekend of the Scion Show of Champions was that Halterman's show up in Stroudsburg PA, I just found out a few days ago they were paying $300, $200, and $100 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for each of the four Scion models... would of had a chance for some nice cash if I knew they were doing that...

 

Its very rare to find shows that pay cash anymore. HIN used to have cash prizes, and they stopped that. I went to one show last year (out of roughly 25) that paid cash, and i didnt place.

im looking at up to 20k for a caddy...... 05 DTS.

 

I know of one in Lancaster, at the East Town Mall, and the one in York on Rt. 30. Their fries are pretty good, just like Boardwalk Fries...

Leave it to someone with a last name "Frey" to have a big weakness for them, hahahaaa! Guilty!

I'm not sure but they're definitely growing (along with the waistlines of their customers!) There's 3 in york.

Yeah, well with my purchase price on the xD and my mods, I'm over the 20K mark as well. I still liked the black DTS the best, BJ... Did you pick anything up yet?

As for you melissa, you better just be in the area because that's waaaaaaaaay to far for you to drive for us! of course, we'd love to see you! we'll be lucky to get 15 cars though!

But 5 guys would be nice. maybe the one in springettsbury in the strip mall with the best buy. I haven't been to that one but the parking is definitely better than the one on Mt Rose. haven't scoped out the one on 30 either. don't know anything about the lancaster one.

 

Well I in debt to Al at the current moment. I told him i would visit at one point in time. So.... soon or later i'll meet up.

Well, when I hold the regular Monthly Movie Nights Sept. to June, I always do them on two nights, both a thursday and Saturday of the same week, so maybe you'll be visiting your parents some weekend when I'm hosting one of the Saturday movies... one of these days I'd like to host a Movie Night specifically for the Scion group...but that's down the road a ways yet, i think...

haha, another advantage of bachelorhood.... I may never want to get married again...!!

yes, well I only said it that way because the only "Scion Folk" I have met in person so far on here is you, al and eddie... I still haven't met april or amy or Jim (or PaDave, dammit!) or anyone else in the York or lancaster groups yet - I'm still trying to go to my first local meet to meet everyone... so I have no idea yet what I'm in for, hitching up with THIS crowd, lol!!


I'm wondering if they'll be rowdy enough for me... jk!
