I will def bring hamburger and hotdog buns, hotdogs, condiments, and jalapenos... I messaged anthony about drinks and if he can't I'll bring em... as for the corn on the cob grilling... you soak them in the husk about 1hr30mins or so then grill them in husk about 45mins to an hour

regarding the mini donuts.. you can always go to weaver's mennonite store in Denver, PA which is forever far away for you but always an option

and don't worry Mark we're not haters lol we welcome all!!

whatever we don't have for the BBQ just lemme know friday and I'll pick it up ;)

FYI I checked availibility on the sam lewis park site... there are 3 pavillions and it gives you the option to check availability for the hilltop pavillion which is booked but not sure about the other 2

and wow I totally didn't know you could camp there.. that would have been awesome

Well, first of all, glad to see Mark make it over here finally, Welcome! Did you see my cell phone snapshot of the Vanity plate I saw the other day, in your other thread? can't wait to have another xD at the meet...

Saturday's not looking so good rain wise, I think it's going to be wet - too bad we're not doing the picnic on Sunday, looks like a nice day then...

Well, yes, yesterday they were saying it was to clear up before afternoon, but now this morning's forecast had it looking like rain until more like suppertime.... Oh well, looking at the bright side, now we won't have to worry about cleaning up out cars to look spiffy for the meet, they'll just be all wet anyway, lol!

um, it is always dry in the Frey Theater... haha!

FYI, i am also available Sunday Afternoon/evening if there would be any move to postpone the meet until then... but, I'm not really available next Saturday; I'll have my two girls that weekend, and I really wouldn't want to have to expose them to THIS crowd at all...

Oops - Time for my romp through the Ephrata Fair food stands, be back after 1pm... Mmmm...Fair Food...!!

Good Morning all...

hey, just some info, I was talking to a friend of mine on my Ham Radio while driving to work this morning, he lives in Mount Joy (where I just moved from last year)... anyway, he told me that a new Sonic has just opened up in Mount Joy, just off Rt. 283, and he also told me one of the employees working there has a gen1 xB with custom paint (or perhaps it's an RS with that irridecent copper-color paint) and all decked out with mods... Perhaps I should swing by there sometime and see if we can't get him participating with our group here... That also may be a good cruise destination for a future meet, kinda midway between the York and the Lancaster folks...

Haha, Eddie, I just moved last April and I was overwhelmed with how much stuff I had, even just taking half the furniture and all my own stuff in the divorce - I had rented a 17'-box UHaul truck to do the move, but when I went to pick it up the morning of the move, they had given it out to someone else by mistake. But fortunately my one buddy works as a mover for United, and by dumb luck he was home that weekend (he drives nation-wide and is hardly ever home), So he brought over a full 52' tractor trailer, and we filled it FULL - so good thing I DIDN'T get the UHaul, or I'da been screwed!

Update, Amy/AMP - I don't have the Cylon scanner lights installed just yet, but I spent over two hours last night crimping and soldering 36 pins (my hands are sore now!) for two pair of 9-pin M/F Molex connectors on the ribbon cable going to the controller, at the locations I will need to have quick-disconnects on the cable... Once I got all the cabling plugged together, I popped the hood last night and stuck the power wires into the battery terminal clamps just to test the unit, and it works like a champ... so, I'll bring it along for at least a demonstration, even if it isn't mounted yet, haha! What a riot!

sounds like a lot of work but it'll be cool! I used to solder a lot of electrical components... but they were for jewelry so who knows if I was actually any good at it.

Well, I have an electronics degree, so I've done just a little soldering in my time... this is just simple but tedious,,,
