California foglight laws?
Does anyone know if there is any issue with running fogs *alone*, without the 'parking' or low/high beams on at same time?
I'm guessing that it's fine, after reading this: http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d12/vc24403.htm
And I also see lots of MDX and other cars running just fogs during the daytime.

it is fine, it says you can use two foglights all you want, so long as they aren't being used as a substitution for headlights. doesn't have anything to do with parking lights.
so durring the day, you can have your foglights on, and at night you can still use them, but your headlights still have to be on.
and they have to be properly aimed and whatnot.

the only issue is that you are only allowed a number of lamps to be on at night... which is why fogs on most cars turn off when you turn on the high beams.

The turn signal bulbs on the corners don't count as "(4) Warning lamps.", right?
