Default MY POOR TC...

I was driving home on US 101 South when all of the sudden I heard a loud bang...I tought someone was trying to shoot me...til i saw my windshield all ____ed up, its probably from the debris. The crack was all across the windshield, i was so mad. Now I have to spend 3 hundred just to replace the whole windshield.

That sux! I had the same thing happen to me in L.A. (Glendale.) driving on the Freeway. I heard a noice, when I got to my bro's house, I checked my windshield and found 2 small rocks embedded in it! Lucky for me it didn't crack my windshield. If you can find somebody to replace your windshield for $300 definitely let us know. I heard they ain't cheap.

I got an estimate from safelite, they gave me $350 just to come to my place and replace the windshield. Do you think that's a good deal? It sucks cause i have to pay it out of my pocket, since i have $500 deductable

I got a quote for almost $400 one time on front wind shield forthe tC. I asked why it is so expensive and the installer mention there suppose to be a mount for the glass that only comes from Toyota parts dealer and no third party at this time makes this stuff, hence jacking up the price. I end up paying only $60 to fix the chrips instead of replacing the entire windshield. If you have Farmers insurance, it has a safety glass policy that no matter what it's a $100 deductible to replace auto glass, in some case, for most new cars it's a deal of a life time, in some other case it is not.

In Stockton, CA. Since I have autoglass protection on my insurance policy,
I only have to pay $100 deductible and it's all done.
