Well a 100,000 mile's later I have been issued a ticket for no front plate and tinted windows. Oh well at lest he didn't get me for speeding which is why he was following me for almost 20 miles.

ive been issued tickets from the chp numerous times they suck.... big time.

 

thats a pretty good record though... ive heard of people get pulled within hours of applying tint or removing their plate..

knock on wood...ill put my plates back on when i get my custom plates in

That cop wanted to get you for something, thats why he chose the front license plate and the tint. Luckily, they are all fix it tickets.

Damn, Bill, I had just about talked myself into putting my front tints on. The ones i bought a year ago... Hmmmm

 

what percent of tint do u have that the chp give u the ticket?

 

Techincally the front windows cant be tinted at all via CA vechile code

 

Rolls are 35 to match factory rear. 80% Is ok but it is dang near clear.

 

The one thing I've noticed about CHP, they tend to love pulling over imports. I had my license plate off my TL for the three years I owned plus front tinting. Never once got bothered. But when I did that to my little CRX, I got pulled over the next week.

And they wonder why we hate them so much!
