Make sure you use a good shop anything is repairable. My first box which was rear ended cost over 10k to repair, and it was not the same as new which sucked. The insurance company will do anything to save a buck when they came to look at my car the first time they said it had $3,500 in damage the guy at the shop laughed and said no way. That number climbed to 6,k 9k, and finally ended up around $11,500. Plus the cost of a rental for almost two months. All and all they could have got me a new xB for $15,500.
Good Luck

Kanchi I love how you always have the perfect image to fit the moment

And thank you EVERYONE for all the well wishes and everything it really means a lot to Erik and I to know that while maybe we aren't still around that often that the community still pulls together you know?

Mo thank you very much for the very good advice. The guys insurance is being fantastic so far (has me thinking of switching to american family!) they let us have the car towed to any shop we chose so we decided to have it towed in to the shop honey0bucket and his father work at, his dad is going to be handling the repairs and will make sure she gets the best of everything. Picking out a good shop these days can be so tricky I'm glad we have friends to look to.

Actually it is the law for you to be able to pick your own shop so they don’t have a choice. Nice to hear they are not pressuring you to use one of their shops. I was rear ended a few months ago in the Highlander and still dealing with it. The shop can’t match the paint any how it sounds like you will be in good hands.
