When you realize what all we women have to go through just to keep the human race regenerating, you would fall on your faces!!! But never fear, we've got it under control and doing just fine. You did your part, we'll take it from here!!!

Hang in there. It seems like labor will never start and that baby will never come, but it does and they do and then you will forget all the little miserable details in the indescribable love you feel for that cute little bundle. (And that love will carry you through so you don't try to send them away when they are bratty later......

Dear Women (guys...cover your eyes):
I lost my plug a week or so ago. I'm actually 2 cm dilated and 40% effaced as of Thursday. But this baby is a slow, patient one just like her dad and she's fine hanging out where she's at. So I have contractions on no schedule yet (at least they're not painful yet either). Went in yesterday but because baby is wanting to take her sweet time, they sent me home to rest. Here's hoping she gets the gumption up to come out soon.
Until then, all I can say is that since she's decended so much, I'm not in agony & discomfort any more. I can breath. My sinus' have cleared up. And I have been able to sleep in my bed unreclined for the past 2 days for an average of 8 hrs per night. That right there is an accomplishment!
I'll keep you SLers up to date with when the action really gets going. Until then...back to your regularly scheduled forum...
