Larry has a couple of really great kids there. When Vanilla was hauling goodies from one apartment to another for Brian and Cindy, one of Larry's kids (I'm horrible at names, but Larry knows which one) was a one-man-loading-crew in getting things out of 'Nilla at the "TO" end and running everything upstairs to the new apartment. Great kids.

 

yeah no kidding any other kid I've ever been around would NEVER do stuff like that without a fight. They just seemed happy to help. It was really refreshing.

 

Dear Beyond Marketing:

I don't know what you guys are doing or what your thought process is....but back in May when we drove down to Las Vegas for the Scion United event we went down there thinking that we were gonna have a great time meeting other Scion owner and such and that was it...well we had an amazing time AND we "supposedly" won a 50" plasma T.V. Now at the time we were told that it hasn't even been on the market yet and that it would be shipped to us....well a couple weeks later we moved and Mike called Matt Costa (the contact person's name we were given) and informed him of our new address and such. At that time Mike was told that it wouldn't be shipped until July 1st because that is when it came out on the market. Well July 15th rolls around we hear NOTHING so I take it upon myself to email Matt at that time he informs me he needs to contact Pioneer and he will get back to me as soon as they respond.....well on July 18th he emails me back telling me that it should be shipped out within 2 weeks...and I gave him our address AGAIN along with our phone numbers. Well 3 weeks later and still no T.V. I email Matt to find out what is going on....NOTHING...so then on August 20th I sent another email trying to figure out what is going on...today is what? Sept 2nd STILL NOTHING no response nothing....what am I supposed to do, upon "supposedly" winning this T.V. you took down all my info including my ss# because you had to report it to the IRS...big deal but when it comes down to it this will affect ME I have to pay taxes on this thing not you and I don't want to pay taxes on something I didn't get....but o well it was already reported and I am gonna have to pay weather I get it or not!!!
So now here I am stuck without a T.V. and a tax bill.......and I don't know what I am supposed to do now....Thanks a lot Matt and beyond marketing for your lack of concern and lack of responsibility and bad business ethic...I hope you read this and contact me ASAP....I think I will contact Scion maybe they can help me in dealing with you....I don't blame them at all...I BLAME YOU!!!!!!!!!! AND YOUR POOR COMMUNICATION SKILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear people that live above us on our private driveway,

I know that you are always in a hurry and can't take the extra 2 seconds to SLOW DOWN when you are coming racing around the BLIND corner and past our Scion. We have sent you numerous requests to SLOW DOWN and nothing has changed. We have now had our NEW car a year....and it looks ok....but right at the rear passenger side bumper where you all drive by it are these lovely rock chips and tar. Just because it isn't YOUR property doesn't mean that you should try to beat speed racer and make a new world record driving around the blind corner and throw rocks at our car as you avoid the potholes that are on YOUR side of the driveway that noone bothers to fix.

I get that you like avoiding the potholes....but by doing so you are destroying OUR property. We fix the potholes on OUR legal side of the property. But there are 10 of you owners up there in the top of the private driveway and not ONE of you can be bothered to FIX your side. So instead you destroy our property. So we put out a construction cone to alleviate some of the rocks thrown at our car. Since you all have made it perfectly clear that you don't care about OUR property. But I will have you know I worked my AZZ off for my first brand new car....and it really bugs me that you have so little respect for others. Not to mention you have almost HIT my daughter and other people's children because you have such a lack of respect for others.

Is the 2 seconds you save going 30 around the bottom and blind corner of the driveway really worth all of the potential hazards? Clearly you think it is

So we sent you another letter after seeing some of you HITTING the construction cone, seamingly on PURPOSE. Well perhaps we should fill it with cement...then you can HIT it all you want! We have tried to be nice...we have tried to be neighborly, but clearly you all have such a lack of respect for other people there is no getting through to you. So we will be involving the neighborhood association...only because that is our only real course of action at this point...and we WILL be filling that cone with cement. Maybe you will think twice after it results in damage to your car. The dang thing has been there for over 6 months......You KNOW it is there....but you still drive like a maniac. Still chip our paint....still almost hit children in the area. We are the ONLY ones that have to deal with this since our place is right on the corner....

Go to HE double hockey sticks and stay off OUR side of the road. Learn some dang respect for other people. Or learn the hardway when you have to fix YOUR car because YOU ran into a clearly marked construction cone that is located FULLY on OUR property, not YOURS....How you like them apples jerkoff?

I say put a couple of bear traps in the road........that will slow them down.......J/K......but it would work in a cartoon.....

Or get a hold of Wiley E Coyote and the ACME corporation. I bet a nice brick wall painted with a mural of the road would be PERFECT!

What happened to the lovely person that I worked with? I got you a job within two weeks of speaking with me, but it was you that dropped the ball on the position, not me. After a week of work, with an employer fully aware of your personal situation, you were term'd for being too slow. You claimed to have plenty of experience in this position, but couldn't even keep a relative pace. Not only are they backed up one week, but actually backed up two weeks. Due to having to hire someone else.

A week later you ask for a bus pass to help out for the following month, which wasn't for another FIFTEEN DAYS AWAY. It takes two minutes to get that processed, but when I said I couldn't grant that request yet for two reasons (1. only half way through the month, 2. not complying with what is being asked). You got your panties in a knot, became confrontational and "shut down". Now I hear YOU are bad mouthing ME? Just like you did with your previous support person.

You have a letter coming in the mail, with the facts laid out in front of you. If you realize that you jumped the gun and reacted without cause, I would be more than happy to continue services. If you don't believe that to be the case you will be term'd from our services.

You have until the 15th to respond.

Well my comments weren't directed at you LOL Just been in that situation tooo many times.... hated it. Decided for a lower stress....albiet lower income....happier life myself LOL I have seen some really nasty office politics and such myself. But again...I wasn't insinuating you were borderline personality disorder LOL

Dear cities of Marysville & Everett,

Why did you decide to have construction on the only roads that I use through your towns? And yet you still have not finished I-5? Please wrap this stuff up ASAP so I can at least keep some of my tire tread from driving over all the groved pavement, and not have to clean my air filter once a month from all the dirt/dust, and only have to repaint the WHOLE FRONT END OF MY CAR once this winter to get it looking like it has less than 200K miles on the origional paint! Please, PLEASE! Get the work done that I have contributd towards so I can have a nice car again, ok?
