so i guess WA isn't as harsh on street racers as other states? if you're caught racing here in florida your license is automatically revoked for a year. the maximum penalty for a first offense is a year in jail and a $1,000 fine.

i suppose it's possible that the trooper just gave them all speeding fines and didn't report that they were racing, although it's pretty obvious that they were.

it was in OR and it wasn't a race its a cruise, they just happen to cruise fast.. they do it on a regular basis here with the ferrari club.. don't think the state wants the liability of impounding $100k+ cars

i suppose it's debatable whether a group of cars speeding and passing illegally on a public thoroughfare constitutes street racing. in my opinion it does.

It wasn't a race.... it was a rally.

wa is becoming just like LA I have 6 modified exhaust tickets and four are with a trd axle back. well not really i have a skunk 2 but i kept the trd so when i get a ticket I swap it out than go to court show them I got it from the dealership and ask the judge if he wants to hear it and then they dismiss. it sucks. I got a ticket for my ride being to low when I was on the teins. it sucks here.

Not sure if it was the same "annual meeting" but I saw about 10 exotics on the 405N freeway when I was going to the LB Grand Prix and that old F40 looks familiar along w/ some of the others. it was pretty bad a@@ to see them all in a line.

"This is not the first time, nor the last time they will speed in the USA...there is no reason not to, the tickets DO not go on their Canada driving record...and since they are just infractions in the State, there are no Warrants issued for non-payment...no need to take care of it...all that happens is a fail to pay notice and then suspension of their driving privledges in the State...BUT since they are NOT a USA citizen...they can not be arrested AND/OR criminaly cited for driving on a suspended status if and when they return to the States..

Is very very common with Canadians cited for DUI here in Washington that do not show up for court..not really a dam thing the law can do about it as written..just have to hope they pay on the "honor system"..

NOW try this in Canada as a USA guy..HELL NO..

As soon as you try to cross the boarder with an outstanding ticket are DUI..you are refused entry till it is paid...AND YES they will take credit card right there and then..IF you have a DUI conviction from the states in the last 10 years, YOU CAN not enter Canada at all...WITH a vehicle.."
