Good to hear. I was going to email you about all this soon. I highly doubt that we will get 5 xA's up there. I'm hoping to have mine ready for the show. But I think we might be able to pull together 5 of the other models.

I think most of us from Mospeed, Menace and Project One (and probably a few other teams) will be up there as well.

Gabi and I recently stayed in the old travelodge in downtown for 70 CDN a night for two people. I think its called the convention center hotel now.

 

well im probably sharing a room with tim and the wifey...and im already scared...i mean tims a weird guy..i think i need to sleep in the bathtub

 

I wonder if there is some kind of vacation home/condo we could rent for the weekend and sleep a bunch of us.

 

Count me in definitely for Global. Since most of you are heading up North, I think there needs to be some people repping close to home.

Personally, I've slept in teh same house as Tim and its not him you need to worry about, its Delia and the other little pup.............dog smooches everywhere!!!!

Um...I still don't know. I've still got a lot on my plate on the whole "trying to win at life, rather than car shows" thing.

I'm planning to go to SCN, but not showing. I just don't like being stuck in one place for most of the day. I'd rather be able to go out and check out Vancouver, it's such a nice city.

 

Most of us do that anyway. You set up your car and then take off. As long as you are back for judging, you are fine. If you are lucky, you get to be one of the first ones judged. Then you can go anywhere you want. Almost everything is within walking distance.

oh i think someone mentioned it, but if you can refresh my memory, what do we need to get over the boarder? i thought i read somewhere a passport or your origional birth certificit. but i want to be sure incase i do actually have to get a passport...

YVR is a 100% walking city. plus the really nice thing is, anything thats not within walking distace, the busses run everywhere all the time...

Passport is the fastest in my experience though.

 

I just need to renew my passport. It died a few months ago.......any clue on what you need to get one? I don't remember?

 

Local Post office can help... or look up an immigration office in the city and give them a call... It's pretty straightforward... just takes time.... But, you're going to global... don't need one..... UNLESS??? SCN!

 

if I get my rear bumper fixed.. i'll be down for SCN... get r done.
