1)wash your tail lights really well...
2) get a spray bottle... mostly water... drop of dish soap and some rubbing alcohol
3) spray taillights driping wet, remove backing of overlays (spray them if you want)
4) place overlay on tail lights.. while both still wet, water should allow you to slide them into place
5)credit card of your choice or small squegee, work water and air bubbles out from under the overlay.. start from middle work to edges.....
let dry and enjoy

You could also have a professional tint service do it for you. I imagine it woudln't be all that expensive (maybe 15 bucks?). I have a great guy in Lynnwood that does tint. If you'd like the number let me know.

It helps to use a hair dryer once you start squeegy'ing the water out from the decals.

Also if you get air bubbles you can use a pin to ***** a hole.

I got Blue Bats for my G35 and had HORRIBLE luck with getting them on so I took them off and scratched the project.
Here is a link for some how to... there are also links in the thread for more DIYs
