The wife and I went up to visit H0B and his family at the coast... and go ridin' on some BANSHEES on the dunes! And in my case, riding them to the extreme....
hopefully didn't break a few ribs
But, if not... they're bruised SERIOUSLY.... (OUCH)
Anyways... brought OUR (not his) lil' box and got a GREAT pic with H0B's Dad's Truck....

Those ridiculous trucks are one reason I wish the state troopers would enforce the headlight height and bumper height laws in this state. Damned things are a hazard to all normal passenger vehicles on the road with them. *mutter* *mutter* *mutter*
it was florence...thats where we were..
and tomas...My dads lights are pointed down, and they dont shine in either my tC mirrors or my xB mirrors or my Focus mirrors..he's one of those guys with big trucks who think of the little people!
as for tims riding, he did take it to the extreme, and boy was it funny.

Yeah, but his bumpers completely clear the bumpers on 99% of normal passenger vehicles, and because of that his bumper/frame, backed up by 6000 pounds of machine, has only a tiny bit of sheet metal and glass to go through before it gets to something nice, soft, and human...
All of my nine 4x4s (which saw a lot of serious off-road time) had bumpers that met other bumpers and vehicle side protection reinforcement. I didn't jack mine up so that my bumpers cleared any occupant protection built into other (legal) vehicles.
That's my biggest objection.
Sorry, totally OT, so I'll shut up about it now.

Love the Florence/Mapleton area. Used to be a VERY fine restaurant on the highway just north of town. Probably gone now.
Ate many a fine meal there, though. :D
Hope the ribs are better!
