So I got a letter in the mail today from the Snohomish county prosecutor.
It was basically just an update to tell me that the jerk-off who caused the accident, and subsequently started assaulting me, accepted a plea of 2nd degree assault, and was given a year in jail, 3 years probation, a $3000 fine, + court costs + restitution.

He will be starting his time Immediately. So Eventually I suppose I will receive some money from him. or maybe my Insurance gets it. They took care of everything at the time. I don't know if there is any Bubba's in the Local jail, but I hope their is.

What I would like to see done to him I cannot say in public,but you can guess.......our criminal system at times is lacking.......but glad that it is finally moving forward......perhaps if we had harsher punishments we would have less crime........goodness it is same sentence for attacking a person as it is for having an ounce of buds.........sad.

He may not serve any time actually. If the accident was a year ago and he was incarcerated during that period, that one year period would count as his jail time. Its amazing how messed up the court system is. But lets hope he posted his initial bail early and will have to serve out most of the sentence.
