hows that false floor going.......i got to do the same thing......not looking forward to it.called around today and a piece of plexi is fairly cheap so I should be starting mine either right before xmas or right after......probably after so I dont go broke....lol

 

OMG, I hate this stupid floor already. After all of the work I did, I cut the hole where the amp will sit crooked. I am hoping when it is all said and done you wont notice, but I am super unhappy. Where did you end up getting the Plexi from? That is my next project.

 

speedy glass sells it cut to shape.1/2"thick by the size I need is $45.......they have others stuff that was more expensive but I am sure the basic stuff will be fine.

and from another thread i have a buddy with a tire recapping shop i will ask him about some sort of filler for that tire project.

 

Ohh awesome, I am figuring it can be put on the back burner. I would feel horrible damaging one of these rims on purpose. With how I drive I will probally end up doing it on accident anyways. LOL

 

Instead of cement in the tire you could probably use expandable foam.

We have a nice tuner show down here in June, it would be sweet to get a bunch of ppl together for this show. So start passing the word around, LOL. How sweet would it be for half of the place to be just Scions.

Sweet, the guys helping with the car project put on the show. So I will talk to them about getting a Scion Mild and Wild catagory if we can get lets say 20 scions down there

 

I have been racking my brain adn cannot think of anything to fill that tire with.I am sure the tire was real as I looked at it but not sure what they put in it.my other guess is they used wood and made it layer by layer and put it in the tire then epoxied it all together.

No, I think this is MDF. At least it is what the sign with that bin said. Its more just my fault. I cant seem to cut straight or measure anythign right
